Pěkná práce.. Ale zvolil bych silnější materiál
Bonjour! C'est magnifique bravo !!! Quelle colle utilisez vous pour coller les pierres ensembles? Cela résiste bien à l'humidité ?
Loved this as well as the build video. Just cut some acrylic to mount my misting nozzles on my dart frog viv and it made me curious about working with acrylic for more. How has this tank held up?
I cannot get Weld On 4 in Hawaii is there a good alternative that will be just as strong?
What thickness acrylic did you use?
Where do you get acrylic? Is there specific kinds?
Nice job buddy...
Thanks 👍

I like your design, thanks for sharing. I have six sheets of used plexiglass (I got them for free!) that I have plans to make a vivarium but I don't have a cutter. The sheets are very thick so I am using a circular saw. The dimensions of the sheets are all 2'x3' and am considering making a tall square instead of a wide setup. I have enough large clamps to hold it while I superglue the pieces. I have a limited budget but I think I have enough material on hand to complete it.
Sounds super fun! I would use plastic cement instead of superglue. Superglue with cause the plexiglass to get cloudy because of the fumes in produces while curing. Plastic cement has a much stronger and water tight bond than superglue. Enjoy your project! GOOD LUCK!
@@christensonaquatics4051hello! I have plexiglass as well. (I'm working on a reptile enclosure) I bought caulk, do you think I can use caulk to seal and glue it together? I just read somewhere that it actually wouldn't stick very well.. so I may have to return it. What are your thoughts? And thank you for this information and video!!
@@ChickenScratch-Feathers I don't think caulk will seal very well, it might hold for a little bit. However, over time the caulk seperates from the plexi-glass. The best method is plasic cement, it will create a perminate bond and be water tight if you get good contact between the piecies.
Okay, thank you for that information! Looks like I'm buying some plastic cement then! Thank you! @@christensonaquatics4051
Driftwoods are costly so... I tooked a wood from a cutted tree... But it is floating so what should i do
You could weigh it down with rocks. Branches from cut trees can work but the tree has to be a hardwood tree.
Great build! How did your metal latches hold up over time? And have you ever used the plastic ones? Do you prefer one over the other?
the metals ones have been doing great. Acrylic hinges are nice if you want to makes the hinges less visable. I like the metal ones for the looks.
great Video
Glad you enjoyed it
keep it up
Nice Tour, thank you! 👍New Sub for you and keep it up 🙋♂

Hi
Hi!
Love the Angelfish tank. Great scape!
Wow. Thanks so much!
Nice little video. Thanks for sharing 💯💗👍✌️
Hope you enjoyed it!
I would love to see Tiger barb community in that 55-gallon tank.
Could be cool! A big school of tiny fish would be super fun.
very cool
Thank You!
It looks really cool!
Thank you!
Nice design but next time use cast acrylic not extruded acrylic as it’s weaker
Cast acrylic is certainly stronger. Since this is a terrarium and doesn't have a lot of pressure I used extruded acrylic. For an aquarium this size I would use thicker cast acrylic.
Thanks dude

Hello from Puerto Rico!!! First timer on your channel and just subscribed. My channel is in spanish but can be captioned. Those are beautiful terrariums you have there. Thanks!! 🙋🏼♀️💚🪴🐩
Thanks for subbing!
Order it ... bolt it on
That works too.
Lol the Driftwood didn't even sink what clickbait
It will sink over time.
Can you make a build like this very large without it falling apart? I want to build a really large (like 1500 square inches large) "tank" style enclosure for my hamster since there aren’t really good enough options on the market right now
You certainly could! I would use thinker acrylic and really make sure the seams and joints are tight and square.
How many mm is that acrylic?
2.5mm
That was dope man. I’m still getting things together for my first build and it definitely takes a while . Looks great 👍
Good Luck with your first build!
Great advice, thank you for sharing. Could you do a video on good rocks to use? :) for fresh water vs saltwater
Ill totally do a video on hardscape!
please write name the water..
Your moms gonna be pissed your using her canning pot
What strength is the peroxide ?
3%
Thank you for making this. I've been thinking about how to do this for a long time.
I'm glad I could help. Good luck with your build!
So you've got a phallic "floater"😉
What was the cost of this build?
About 30-40 USD. A hardware store will have sheets of acrylic for a decent price.
Gr8 tutorial thank you. Where do you order the acrylic sheets from a d what glue did you use?
I got the acrylic sheets from my local hardware store as well as the solvent. Just ask the employees for help.
Ah! Thank you! I am planning to get a leopard gecko again, and I am gonna clean out the terrarium my old one lived in and transform it into a leopard gecko paradise, but it's been sitting in the shed for literally years and I wanna clean it for sure first. This method should work for that too I believe.
Awesome! good luck!😀
I did that and it still floats
I would just give it time. If it doesn't sink after a month it might be the wrong type of wood. Good luck!
How thick of a sheet did you use?
3 mm
@@christensonaquatics4051 Thank you!
I live in Phoenix so was fortunate enough to find a length of iron wood. It is leaving tannins in the water though.
Nice! Iron wood certainly has a lot of tannins.
Great video as usual!
For real fr
Very nice ecosphere!
Many thanks!
Very nice
So nice
I had a huge 4 ft long piece that took 3 weeks to sink in my bathroom jet tub. My Girlfriend was not impressed.
Haha 😂
