JULY 4th vlog in RHODE ISLAND: Bristol Parade, Newport Boat Tour & Fireworks!
We saw America's oldest continuous July 4th celebration, which happens in Bristol, RI! After crossing the Bristol 4th of July parade off of our bucket list, we headed to Newport, RI to celebrate Independence Day--New England style! This Rhode Island vlog covers everything from some of the best hot dogs in America, a sightseeing boat tour of Newport Harbor, and fireworks over the water. Rhode Island ended up being a great July 4th travel destination! Even though the most patriot town in America doesn't have fireworks on July 4th, it gave us a great excuse to continue the celebrations in beautiful Newport and end our day with live music and fireworks.

Can I avoid going to the vortex tunnel or in order to exit we all must follow the same path? I don't think I could handle that tunnel since I suffer from vertigo lol
What can you do in Occoquan? Apparently you can't speak freely or represent your chosen political candidate. I'll never visit.
Oh really? Did something happen to you there?
How long did the security check last and what are their hours?
The security check was only about 5 minutes. In terms of hours, I think it’s 10-5pm but I recommend checking their website.
@@thetravelingstewarts that’s awesome to hear, thank you!
Have you seen The Prestige?
No but it’s funny you ask because it’s on my watch list! Would you recommend it?
I presume his chain of thought was that these people would bring all their loot and ill Gordon gains back to Saint Paul and then promptly sell it and spend all the money in the local economy thus giving an artificial boost. That’s the local hospitals gunsmith et cetera would also do very good business along with car dealers garages et cetera when preparing and recovering from heists and other nefarious activities. On the plus side it was handy for the federal government because they knew where all these scumbags were hanging out and could use the town to gather intelligence .
I’d say all of that is very probable! And, of course, St. Paul would effectively be “crime free,” as far as gang activity was concerned.
It's on our list when it's time for us to go to North America! looks incredible from a very interesting location! Thanks for sharing your experience.
You definitely should visit Niagara Falls!
Sleepy
Tesla is awesome
Definitely a genius!
lol I almost got stuck in that maze when I was younger
I believe it!
Great video..I listened while I walked the adventure
That’s great! Thanks for listening!
Omg my cousin Wichita a wife and visiting him this weekend!
So cool! Hope you have a great visit.
Just got married behind that Cafe du Monde over by the red tower. It was beautiful.
That must have been such a pretty wedding!
OMG are you from the military base from Fort Stewart in Brian county south of Savannah?
We are not but what a coincidence!
How did you get to the ferry boat in Vancouver and then again back? What transportation did you use please?
We drove to Port Angeles, WA, where the ferry takes off from. There’s a parking garage directly across from the dock.
@@thetravelingstewarts and from the ferry in Victoria to downtown?
@@IxNxFxExRxNxO We just walked! It’s very walkable, and for longer distances, the water taxis came in handy.
I looked a lot for this kind of videos finally one. Nicee ❤
Wonderful! We’re glad you enjoyed it.
Hope y'all enjoyed Leesburg. I grew up near there but the area has changed so much. So crowded and busy!
Yeah it’s amazing how much downtown Leesburg has evolved!
@@thetravelingstewarts Mainly the whole area. I was a teenager in the 90s , and it was like a sleepy area then. It had a laid back feel. It's built up so much , especially on Rt 7.
@@MeadeSkeltonMusic Yeah it’s totally different now, especially Rte. 7!
Good
Thank you!
How do you like to celebrate July 4th? Comment below!
Do not feel bad for the burning. The Brits and Canadians burnt the entire American side from Fort Niagara to Buffalo (every dwelling) because of the burning of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Which is really really mean!! SO we are sorry!! ❤
Haha thank you! That is a really good point!
Protestants ☕️
Wow that is awesome I didn’t know that 😮
Right!? We never expected a ship to be under the Twin Towers!
This would be great if it wasn't for all the long lines.
Yeah the lines are long but they moved faster than we thought they would. But definitely be prepared to wait.
some of the best hotels and suites to stay in victoria bc?
A lot of the hotels are pretty pricey in downtown Victoria ($300-$400 per night). So we didn’t stay in Victoria but we heard great things about The Empress Hotel, Chateau Victoria Hotel, & Victoria Marriott.
I love Jekyll! Used to live nearby on St. Simons, and I loved getting to occasionally escape the “busyness” of St. Simons for a day on Jekyll. One of my favorite things to do there was cycling. Because it’s so small and flat, it’s such an easy way to enjoy the island and see all the sights.
Cycling on Jekyll sounds so lovely! We unfortunately didn’t have great weather when we were there. Such a beautiful island!
Spend the $32 bucks for the ww2 museum, one of the greatest museums I was ever in.
Oohh that’s great to know! We would love to return to New Orleans and visit the WW2 museum and some other spots we couldn’t get to.
Canadians burnt down the White house in the war of 1812...same time...."SORRY"...hence the term White House
I Loved your Video! - why not come to Liverpool for your next Video?! - I would be honored to show you around the 'BEATLE' houses etc! - :)
Thanks! We were fortunate enough to spend one day in Liverpool and we got to visit both John and Paul’s homes. It was an incredible experience!
Huh what a waste of Coin
Yeah I guess some people want to try their luck.
Went there on a class trip sometime around 1964, we were permitted to enter private residence, probably can't anymore, even to a second grade kid the houses were tiny.
Oh cool! Was it really small and narrow inside?
Yinz missed Eides Entertainment, the world's greatest comic store in the world. One block from the Heinz Museum
Yeah! We couldn’t squeeze it in but really want to go back and visit it.
Was the star gazing worth it?
YES!! It was incredible and our photos couldn’t do it justice.
How could you skip Penn Mac??? Enrico Biscotti's??
I know! We only had one day there so we would love to go back and do the area right!
Ohhhhh
Eat crawfish!🦞
How can you visit Louisiana and not try 1 crawfish?
We just couldn’t do it! Plus, there were so many other yummy dishes to try.
What are your favorite things to do in New Orleans? Comment below!
Masks completely ruin this video.
They really do!
VERY IMPORTANT FOR HUMANITY!!There is a special technology of conspirators. They can track a person from a distance via a satellite with an infrared camera and use the radiation at the right moment to cause the person to stumble on stairs, cause a thinking blackout, or cause the extreme blinking and eye twitching seen in Hollywood films have no known cause in medicine. They can cause constipation, erection problems, headaches, upturned nose, runny nose, suffocating feeling in the chest, suffocating feeling in the head and much more. they can speak in the room where the person being tracked is in so that they can be heard in the room, they can speak in such a way that you only perceive them in your head as your own mental voice, and they can speak while I speak so that my throat speaks his words. They engage one family per person tracked. They already know substances that preserve the human body so that the cells do not age, and substances that put the body on standby so that only the brain and the heart have to work regularly and therefore little energy, no sleep and no food or drinking is necessary. That is why they can commission a family from birth to death for an ordinary citizen. In addition, they have managed to digitize people's eyes, ears and brains and access this data remotely, i.e. H. the visual images, the mental text voice, what you hear with your ears and what you see with your eyes. Through mental power they can show themselves in the citizen's mind as the person they are, they can also show themselves in our minds as another person or something else, through an artificial intelligence that can control this dedicated family using voice recognition. Believe it or not, they can even transfer any thought or feeling they want to the persecuted citizen in such a way that they understand it the same way.
Good to see that there is a Chinatown worth seeing. Don't go to it in Vancouver, it's the worst area, a slum, many terrible half dead drug addicts everywhere, or dealing with stolen items, it stinks like urin, trash everywhere disgusting. Thanks to the Government and spreading out through the city. Embarrassing !!!!
That is really good to know!
There’s Benson Boulevard in Anchorage and Benson Street in Benny’s hometown of Seward. There’s also Mt Benson and an airport named after Benny
How cool is that!!
Born here in 69. My big brother and I when we were kids (summer of grade 3 and 4) use to ride our bikes to town, lock them to the railing in front of the Douglas building, take the stairs to the Basement, then take the tunnel that led to the East side of the Parliament building first level basement. There is a tunnel that leads to the Empress. Way back in the days, the Royals when they stayed at the Empress would use the tunnel underground systems for security reasons. My brother and I spent 3 weekends/ many hours exploring the Underground network in and around the Parliament buildings in the summer of 1977. The first room we walked into had the door open, was full of all the plans of the Parliament building, surrounding building/ structures. We scanned all the planes for anything that had dashed lines and took notes. All of a sudden, we had a feeling someone was watching us. We looked at the door that we had left open a crack like we found it, to see an eyeball staring at us, the door opened to the Guard asking where our MoM was, I replied she is working in the Douglas building. The guard told us he did not have a problem with us being there, as long we put everything back, and you did not steal anything. As the guard was closing the door, he said, " You boys know there is treasure around here". My big brother and Eye looked at each other, as if to say, If there was, we will find it. Well Over the Average tourist has no idea how extensive the underground network is in this city. Take Government street for instance where that whale bush is, if you walk almost to China town, and look back towards the House of Parliament, you will see a hump in the road, that hump never use to be there/ when you walk into the stores on that hump, you are actually walking into the second floor of those stores. Where that hump is, if you walk west to the water, you will see a parking lot that has a retaining wall built from large rocks. those large stones were from the ballast of the old long-range sailing ships from South America, British Isles and Europe or so the story goes. The guy that built the Parliament, Empress and a few other buildings left too many clues about the so-called treasure that is hidden under this city. One of the best free things to do in this city is the Directed Tour of the Parliament building. As they tell you Gene wanted to fill the Decor of Parliament with so much gold trim, but it was shot down because it would have shown that house had too much of it. Gene was also rumored to have been kill in some sex scandal and died penny less as he was taken for everything he was worth as it was evident that he new something. Or so the story goes.
Thanks so much for sharing this! Very cool about the tunnels!
@@thetravelingstewarts Want to hear or see more about the Underground in Victoria. Check out google earth, take a look at the Fountian on MENZIES street beside the Parliament, then draw a line threw the new First Nations Totem that was added a few years ago, it was named the Totem of Knowledge, the original Ley line markers have been there since the Parliament build they are the stone Oblisk's the tall one is beside that huge tree that is beside the Queen, and the other is by that wall by the Inner harbor. If you draw a line threw those two/ three objects they will draw a line to where the Tunnel from the Empress leaves/ enters that building from the House of Parliament. If you want to go down the rabbit hole this will get you in the ball park, take a compass and Theodolite to the points of the stone markers, measure your BB/ Back Bearing and seconds to the Fountian from the curb in front of the Empress( the angle just happens to line up with the Tunnel depth and tunnel entrance , The big tree has just about over grown and you will need to know the offset from when they were placed. Then locate the old painting of the original flag pole that use to be on the Parlaiment lawn (has the number of the length/ height of the Flag Pole. Back in the 70's the painting was on the wall that faced the Parliament building close to the entrance of the tunnel that leads to Parliament where the ball rooms are in the Empress. I went back there looking for it after my brother was found dead in his home 2016, and did not see the painting anywhere close to where it was located in the 70's and nowhere to be found that I had access to. Anyway, that line makes up the right side of Pyramid with Eyeball on top when looking down from the sky, the left line is broken up but starts at the Douglas Building tunnel that leads to Parliament and when we were there in the 70's there was a lot of really old bricked off tunnels. Anyways it is a pretty funny story that GENE/ the guy that built those structures. National Treasure is one funny movie if you are into that kind of stuff. The line starts in the Hawaiian islands, cuts threw the south of Vancouver/ threw that fountain on MENZIES and the Tunnel door in the Empress, and exits the south Island threw that War Memorial over by Cattle point, then ends in the North Eastern part of Alberta. Ley lines were also referred to as Lines of Knowledge. Only the oldest maps show the line that Gene was so interested in. Don't Forget to read/ hear what the Free Parliament Tour has to say about the man that engineered the House of Parliament, then died Penny less behind some sex scandal. Anyways, have fun, I know I enjoyed my Trip thew my cities past History.
I grew up in Victoria and never knew all this! So cool!

Thanks for watching! ☺️
Thank you so much for the video; by far the most informative!! Our family will be in Vancouver for the first time this weekend. I have few questions pls Did you have to take taxi everywhere in this video?- should we take our rental on the ferry? How many hours did you spend visiting all those places? Thank you 😊!!!
Sorry for just now seeing this. We hope you had a wonderful trip!
