My name is Blake Tabian and am from Vancouver, BC. I am a Civil Engineering student with a passion for helping others while achieving my own success. Though I was once an average student (or even below average), I have hacked the system and allowed myself great academic success and I want to share how with fellow students! Through UA-cam tutorials I will provide students with step-by-step solutions to some complex engineering problems. Additionally, I am an active blogger on LinkedIn and my new website (everythingeng.com) with a focus on motivating others to succeed. I want other students to have the same success I have by following these tutorials and academic/life coaching. I am a born leader, motivator and educator who believes everybody can succeed no matter their prior convictions.
My tutorials are meant to show students that complex technical problems can be made easy and fun. Best of all; they're GLUTEN-FREE!!

Thank you.
Good video, thanks (big papi)!
You’ve answered all questions that I had. Thank you!
Thankyou
omg my lecture made us remember formulas
i think determinant is wrong it should be 601 but you have written 400 :) plz tell me if i am wrong
I thought I was going insane, there is a typo when he's computing the determinant - he uses the original values 800 not 801 as he rewrites the matrix.
really good video
Great
Another explanation that jumps over b2. Why is the 2nd degree divided difference? Nobody seems to know it.
this is unreal
moltes gracies
chef's kiss my friend
Great video ❤
This video seriously made my computation course way easier. You didn't skip a single explanation. I've been trying to figure out some of these numbers all day, so I'm leaving a comment of appreciation for explaining it so well :)
can you do 4 nodes in 1D? Please help!
Great video, how can we make it well-conditioned?
good video!
i don't have strong background in this topic could somone tell me what is the difference between v(x ) shear force and the same denotation used as transverse displacement
the V and v
what do you mean symetric in last matrix for local? like 0 ?
symetric around the diagonal. so K[a,b] = K[b,a]
Thank you. It's safe my life for my test
Can you explain why they’re 1,-1 or 0 and how do I know where to put them
You explained condition numbers well but a warning to anyone watching this, his explanation of matrix norms is inaccurate.
I still dont understand, why do you have to use LU decomposition?
So much vital and well explained information at once, excellent!
I think you swapped the unit diagonal. I think for Crout the lower matrix L should have the 1 in the diagonal and not the upper matrix. Maybe I am wrong though.
Yeah I think you're a bit mixed up, that's the Doolittle Method that you are referring to
The best video for condition number of matrix ! Perfect explanation ever with simple examples. Thanks a lot 😊
1:15 I think you mean "Small change in A results in a small/large change in x" (not c)
Saying axes for axis is really bugging me every time haha
You are a great teacher.Thank you
This is why i love UA-cam. Brilliant teaching...thank you 🙏
Well explained ,💗
Where is part 2
Thank you for your video. Could you kindly let me know why sometimes the shear force V is multiplied by deltax/2 in some text books? Usually, they do equilibirum of moments and then, they multiply the shear force by deltax/2 but I do not understand why deltax is divided by 2. Thank you!
awesome tutorials awesome channel.
Great video, thanks! Small typo, though v'(x=l) = Phi_2 = ... + C_3*3*l^2 (in the video), should be: v'(x=l) = Phi_2 = ... + C_4*3*l^2
Cholesky was French of Polish origin. Died in WW I in 1918.
Great Video! But there is a small mistake: Det(A) in the example uses -800 and not -801 so Det(A) should be -601 right?
The conditional number would be 1668 then
Crisp and on the point .. thanks sir
Los titulo NO muestran el numero de leccion y aunque en las imagenes congeladas muestran el numero de tutorial, yo solo veo tutorial 3, tutorial 3, tutorial 3.
Thanks man
now how do you actually solve the system of linear equations with this method once you have L and U?
How to contact you?
@5:50 will there be two internal forces, in each node? if yes, why? if no, why not? As I see you drew two arrows for internal forces at each node? and what do you mean by they must be in equilibrium? which forces must be in equilibrium and at where? at each node or for the whole system?
at the very beginning, @node 2 is it not a pinned/hinged support, rather than a fixed support?
Almost every source I find uses some kind of shortcut for each problem. The problem is that shortcuts the understanding of how the process actually works for a normal arbitrary problem.
i think there is some mistake at 21:38.......you have written 45-9=0
thank you so muchhhhh
thank you
Thanks bro
