United States
Приєднався 14 гру 2023
Helmed by Hollywood Black power couple Ryan Michelle Bathe and Sterling K. Brown, We Don’t Always Agree offers an elevated view of learning and growing together even (or especially) when we don’t see eye-to-eye. This dynamic duo explores topics that we weren’t discussing openly 20 years ago and the debates we’ve been hearing since the beginning of time. This show inspires belly laughs, may ruffle a few feathers, and sparks conversations as profound and affirming as they are entertaining.
Raising Black Boys To Men with Andrew and Amare Brown | We Don't Always Agree with Ryan & Sterling

🔝THIS WAS GOOD‼️
This was such a candid conversation and it hit home in so many places. Sterling, you’ll probably never see this but I saw you both in Santa Monica with your boys at a park. Sterling you gave me the biggest smile and it didn’t hit me until I passed you two, as I was catching up with my little so. who you both were and that I really enjoyed your individual work. These conversations are powerful. Thanks for showing your hearts. ❤❤
As Amare’s lawyer, my client would like to invoke his 5th amendment right and avoid self incrimination. 😂 They are both so self aware and confident. They will be impactful and so successful as they continue to grow up.
OMG that is definitely me with the being on the phone in the car🤢. I am relating to Ryan sooooo much
Amare and his responses!!! LOL
I have a 10 year old boy and an 8 year old girl. Those ages are...whew...lots of differences in just two years. I can only imagine 4 years!!! Eight year olds seem to be consistent across the board with their responses and how they explain stuff, though, lol.
Adorable children!!! Loved the interview with them!
Yes!!!!! She articulated this PERFECTLY!!!
They are having REAL conversations about REAL ish and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT!!! LOVE THEM!!!
We LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Hold up...when Sterling started talking about Black Panther, did he slip back into character...cadence and accent changed - lol - Killmonger's Deddy - lol
I loved seeing your story. I actually have seen some of both of your work and just recently found out you were married. Funny thing I saw you both with your sons at a Santa Monica park. We live in SM and when I walked by Sterling gave me the purest widest smile and I didn’t even register who it was because I was chasing my son until I passed y’all. And I didn’t want to circle back to gush about both of your unbelievable talents, you were enjoying family time and it was beautiful to witness. ❤
This podcast is exceptional and needed. Thank you both for your transparency humor 🤣!!
I am Crying !!!!
Did he call her a niglet🤣🤣🤣? I love their dynamic!!
I have reviewed and listened to this podcast several times. It brought up themes we struggle with and gives us a starting place to approach the challenges we have around communication. Thank you and Dr. Jackson for helping me and my husband start the conversation! You guys rock!
Thank you for this amazing conversation! I first determined I was black in a very painful way and always struggled to define my blackness without being monolithic. But college was such a gift in allowing me to see who I really was and that being celebrated. Your honesty and openness is so needed. Thank you!
This blessed me so! ❤ Great things in store for you and your children. God bless you all! 🙏🏾
After all of these years, I believe this may be the first time that I've ever decided to post a comment on UA-cam. I LOVE this content that you two have created! I also LOVE the interaction between the two of you. It's informative, educational, and inspiring. Thank you for your transparency, displaying what black LOVE actually looks like, and showing how to positively & respectfully communicate within a relationship. You two are greatly appreciated!
😂❤😂❤😂❤😂

“Who you been scrapping wit?!” 😅 I’m so so happy and grateful for this podcast.

Ryan and her momma catching strays wow
Oct 17, 2024 - After a less than stellar day that felt like a 14 hour workday where each consecutive hour was exponentially worse than the previous, I finally get home and resign myself to simply turning on some background noise while I hopefully drifted off to sleep. To my surprise, I happen to glance a thumbnail of Ryan and SKB. In the span of 6 minutes my trials of life had taken a backseat to what I was enjoying on screen. I thank you both equally for this. An absolutely incredible podcast. I thank you for the humor, candor, and mutual adoration you've expressed for one another. Liked, subscribed and can't wait to continue the rest. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤
Beautiful! 💜 I would like to see this as a film 🎥✨. Thanks for sharing! 🤗
Y'all are on to something ❤🎉🎉.. Very insightful Thank you for sharing 😂❤❤❤❤#KeepitGoing
I really enjoyed this. Even the rhythm of it was enjoyable very comedic, relatable, and deep at the same time and still honest. It offers something a little different. Very fun to watch, entertaining, while also learning a lot, Loved it. 🙌🏾
I have watched this an offensive amount of times over the last couole of weeks...This episode was hilarious. I love them so much
The most alike answers were hilarious 😂😂😂
I’m caught up on all of the episodes and I’m obsessed with your podcast!
Children are the most honest people on earth but you have to love them for it because there is love in the truth. Awesome I love it. 🤎
Love this!!
I love Andrew so, so much 😂😂😂. He was ready to DRAGGGGGGGGG today 😩😅😄
He did not come to play, he wanted this platform 😂
This was so hilarious and cute all at the same time. You guys are doing great with your kiddos. Keep up the good work.
Perrrrriiiiiiioooooodddd! @47:35
I thank you so much for this broadcast! This brought back memories growing up and attending private school and later transferring to public school. Even though each area was diverse, I only got negative treatment when around my own Black people. It wasn't until I traveled to Nigeria when I truly understood the phrase 'Black is beautiful.' Observation of various shades of Blackness humbled me. I was trying to obtain praise from a Caucasian society that could care less about me. Now I know that Black people are the real part of human civilization. May you both continue to raise awareness in our community. Wakanda forever!!
“Oh, you kissed me! Let’s talk about that!” Lmaoooo that’s something I would do. I NEED to know the who what when where and most importantly WHY 😩
THIS. is. beautiful episode. Pure JOY. Mom is cool. Dad is lovely. The kids are adorable and they have beautiful voice. Wondered what is their specially Amare musical inclination. God bless!.
Oh, my mercy...lol 🤣 - - it be your own people. 💁🏾♀ Amare told ALL the secrets. Love ya'll!
Ad: “Kids love stickers” …not Andrew lol
33:58 My dad is Sterling’s complexion, 6’3 and probably the quietest person ever and I got told all the time that my daddy was scary - and mostly by black people
Jesus Ryan this is some really messed up shit.
Andrew is wonderful 😂😂
