I hope you can get good sleep soon! That would have frightened me too! One time last year we found 3 baby possums in our house. One inside the back door and two in our bedroom! 😳. Check for any entry points and close or cover them. For security, close your windows when you are away. Window screens can keep out insects and birds and small animals while allowing airflow. For now I guess it is best to close the window at night or leave only a small crack so a cat cannot fit. Seal your foods in airtight containers. One year we had an ant invasion. Enjoy your space! 😊🌺
