New edge mustang gets Team Z 10 point cage and Battle ready 8.8.
In this video you can see my mustang and the latest work done. I had a Team Z 10 point 8.50 cert cage installed, The spare tire well was removed and the coil over relation bar was installed as well as a Tin Soldiers battle ready 8.8 kit. This 8.8 has 9" ends, 35 spline axels, and a full spool. Its is also backed and has 4 link adjustments added. If your interested in seeing more please subscribe!

This is Ryans journey to get his CTS-V into the 9’s! It took a couple years along with some broken parts and feelings. Getting this stick shift CTS-V into the 9s makes it one of the fastest manual V’s in the world! More things to come to hopefully get that number a little low

If I may give a little constructive criticism, turn your phone sideways so your video is nice and wide and not "squished". How do you like the Team Z cage? Im doing a cage in a 2002 Mustang right now. I bought a Competition Engineering cage and the fit is decent. Keep up the good work.
The team z cage seems to fit great I’ll make the final decision when I mount the dash and put the interior back in.
Keep us updated. Curious to see if/how the dash will fit. Thanks!!

How do you like the Megan's at the track? Currently piecing together parts to go LSA on mine, I previously went 12.7 on a stock ls6, china headers and cold air intake only, stock suspension.. and I loved it... But considering switching to coilovers
The Megan’s got the job done but they aren’t good for drag racing with any proper sized tire. If you plan on running a 28 like I do on the back, you will have to max the shock out in height and bottom the shock out basically to get it to not hit. BUT if you convert the rears to true coilovers, as in add a spring to the shock itself and get rid of the divorced setup, you have infinite adjustment basically in height. I’m actually selling my setup because I went to Viking coilovers.

Unfortunately, The front end is cut off and new plates welded on for this to mount to. Not a plug and play system.

Hasn't been on dyno since the turbo kit was done. A good guess 800+ at the highest boost its seen this far.

With the base model calipers and rotors, what size wheel were you able to drop down to? I’m torn between what to do bc i hate not being able to run a small wheel with a big tire.

Any update for the race drive? Been eyeballing it, since its cheaper than a stock lsa system
Ryan hasn’t been on in awhile he used the race drive with no issues for a full season of racing and street driving, the car is now twin turbo.
Definetly keep posting. Ill have to check that place out in ohio you mentioned. Im hopefully starting my swap next year and i cant wait to see how your build goes.

Can you use stock fuel lines with a 340lph on reg gas to power the lsa?
Yes you can. There are a lot of guys that run the stock fuel lines. My plans for this car just don’t stop at an lsa blower so I went ahead and put in a nice fuel system right off the bat. The 340 pump should be ok. Not sure what the rest of your setup is. If you’re going with a stock size pulley and injectors then absolutely you’ll be fine. But if you plan to run a small pulley and big injectors and try to put some power down, you may consider jumping up to a slightly bigger pump. On gas, it will most likely support it, but at some point that pump won’t be able to supply the amount needed to make bigger power.
Why did you use the v2 rear disc brakes instead the v1's?I am in the process of doing the same conversion,your help is well appreciate it .
I did have my v1 calipers and redrilled rotors on it. But the drag wheels I have for the rear are for a c7. So they hit my calipers. So I put on the 2012 cts base model rear calipers and rotors to clear those rear wheels. That’s the only reason. V1 calipers bolt on direct if you swap the brake lines.
