St. Armands Circle & Lido Beach the Calm Before the storm! Hurricane Milton
I decided to put some boots on the ground and see the tourist destination for myself. I wanted to see the devastation Hurricane Helene left before Milton comes to town. Please be safe everyone.

This is terrible, I have family down there.
If u don’t get ur ass out that field 🤣🤣🤣
This life chose me!
Great great video!
Tropical Storms are way worse than Hurricanes water wise. Hurricanes come in blow the shit out of everything rain hard and leave. Trops are slow moving drop huge raindrops you can hear thundering on your roof and often just stall or slowdowns and the water is horrific. In Pinellas County everyone still remembers the No Name Storm of 1995, Water was unreal.
Great historical video, this will be watched many years from now.
Put more concrete and asphalt down then wonder why the water wasn’t any place to go.
Desantis turned down federal funds for schools lunches,so help for the cult,America is sick of bailing you out,MOVE🎉
Keep building, fruters, scott, desantis, trump, and all your republican county commisioner s,SUCKERS🎉
Great coverage. So sad for the people.
We live in Sarasota. My Parent’s house is on the other side of the creek. They had about 5ft or more. It’s unreal. Unprecedented flooding. This isn’t a normal occurrence. 😢
I love your video I used to live in Sarasora many good memories
Don’t walk in water , it will be contaminated . Use waders , or boat , or kayak ….
Except Katrina wiped out everything
Think about this folks! Water has always been there under the ground. Developers are building homes, businesses, and parks. A hurricane comes through. The developers did not bother to put in drainage pipes, a place for the water to go. Instead it's here, the drainage is the main streets, your homes, your businesses, your parks. Now with more water above and below the foundation or corner stone is depleted of its strenght. It's quick sand ready to eat your place up! Florida has been and always be a swamp! Greed knows no boundaries! Sincere people who read those advertisements about the property they want to retire to, are lies.
Exactly they only focused on Laurel Meadows.. where the white people with money lives.. wtf
Almost Bought My Parents Home In Arcadia, Best Decision I Ever Made Was To Stay In New England, Snow Storms Don't Destroy Your House! I'll Take Using My Snow Blower Over Rebuilding My Life Anytime!
This is happening all over the country, floods , forest fires. Nova Scotia had damage from Lee last year and they have snow blowers. .
New construction flooding farmland all over America.
Thank you ❤ do you have any other footage by Bahia vista/legacy trail and prinecrest bridge? A vehicle was found today with a body submerged under the Pinecrest bridge.
So glad I moved back to nys
Ive lived here since 08 ive never seen anything like this. Sarasota has been pretty lucky as far as hurricanes and flooding. I live on Swift and even through Irma and the most recent hurricane before debby i had barely any damage and lost no power shit i still even had wifi throughout the whole thing. But this storm was something different. I've never seen it rain that hard for that long. It was literally 2 straight days of downpour
Bahia Vista and 41 do not run parallel. 🙄 And I’ve lived here for 30 years. It’s never happened before. Besides, we hardly had any rain all year and then we got dumped so it’s been harder for the ground to soak it up as quickly as it usually does.
Thanks for putting this up. I Don't live in FL, the only thing I see them talking about on Sarasota news is Laurel Meadows. Whats up with that! How about other areas that got flooded.
All the houses in this video are near Phillippi Creak , which overflowed, many of them were in a flood zone so they would have to carry flood insurance.
NY and Quebec had the same floods from the same storm. I guess you can't move there either
Is there a way I could get all the footage you have one this? A friend is looking for a family member that went missing since Mondah around the same area that you are showing? Looking everywhere we can! Let me know.
Loved the drone we live by a creek and it's not 🚫 good , but the price to have Paradise you got the perfect pictures
This is 100% the over development of our town
Absolutely to bad he didn’t get footage of laurel meadows place was under 5 ft of water for almost a week out of 85 houses only one is habitable right now
@@jamesrichards9921 They had far more attention in the media than Bahia Vista. I would say a ratio of 10:1. The houses in this area are very old and have never flooded.
@@jamesrichards9921This man has posted a lot of Laurel Meadows footage: ua-cam.com/video/icJTtwj-or8/v-deo.htmlsi=z88YqkoqWEvZe8wU
Thank you for showing us the result of this storm.
As a lifetime Sarasota resident I have seen it flood like that 3 times now in the last 35 years.....and alot more smaller episodes of flooding also
Ya do not move to my city Sarasota , not only do we hate northerners but we also have hurricanes and we don't have any homes for rent so don't move here... ✌😜 thx
Looks like the county/city never cleaned the bioswales, gutters, storm water drainage. That area isn’t supposed to flood like that.
Really appreciated your drone flying and your commentary. Thank you!
What part of Conn are you from? I used to live in Ledyard back in the 1960's
Thank you!
Thanks for the info !
This was outstanding video footage. Thank you. Please keep it up
