Well I think what happened was Dave thought he was better then the 2 women he had doing back up. Well he quit sugar and Dave and went out on his own. He did one record it was called Dave without sugar, it was a bad album and it flopped. I think he soon discovered without sugar he was nothing after the flop he got back withe sugar but the envey of the other singers was to much and they broke up again and then the group phased out. I think he might of had this complex that he was handsome and people would buy his records just on his looks which was not what it was.

Lorrie was not named after the singer, Loretta Lynn. Lorrie was born before Loretta came to Nashville & became friends with her.

I wish Keith Whitley had gotten to stay with us for a much longer time . He and Lori Morgan Whitley were beautiful together and I know his being gone still to this day makes her very sad I love that family xo

I remember so well listening to Keith singing Don't close your Eyes. That song was a big hit. It was played a lot. But All of a sudden, everyone that liked Country music and Keith, was talking about Keith going to Play at a little country dance hall called Across the Broader. In FM South Carolina. I couldn't believe it!;!! Keith was a big time entertainer, everybody was talking about the new Keith Whitley song ' Don't close your Eyes ' I expected him to play at big arena with thousands of people attending. But there he was at Across the Broader. And then a few months later Keith died 💔😞 He was a wonderful talent and still makes me feel sad for him when I see him singing. He seems to be so shy no wonder that happened to him. Got keep you Keith.🙏

Why am I not surprised to read that Lori sold Keith's car for monetary gain when instead SHE could have given it to the family herself.... We miss you Keith. You deserved so much better. I'm glad the family has his car back.
