This week Pastor Reverend Alison Agnew continues our journey through the book of Exodus, visiting chapters 13 and 14, specifically 13:20-14:22 leading up to the parting of the Red Sea.
Alison makes the point that this isn't a story of the Hebrews leaving Egypt: rather it is a story of God's leading His people out of the country of their bondage. Alison draws our attention to three pairs of words in this passage: "in front" vs. "behind", 'boldly" vs. "terrified", and "be still" vs. "move on".
