I have been gaming on computers since the mid eighties, my first computer was the Spectravideo SV-328 from 1983.
My next computer was the Amiga 500 and it revolutionized my perception of gaming by utilizing good graphics and awesome sounds which back at the day were superior to other home computers.
In the late 1980's I got my first taste of what people nowadays call a PC, a friends family had a 86 system.
In the early 1990's one friend had a 386 and another had a 486 system.
Playing games has been a part of human culture from ages past and gone.

The actual hardware that Nvidia uses on the Ultimate subscription (which I have) seems to Nvidia L40 / L40G / L40S gpus, all of which are a bit stronger in performance than an RTX 4090. The build has started working somewhat even though I feel rusty as this type of gaming has not been on my so called menu for many years. The adventure continues. I am enjoying myself and the journey to the end game is far from over.

This is early access so a lot of things might change. The connection was lost to server, so the video is cut short but will give an impression on what the game will be like. The game is rather hectic and it has been several years I have really played a game like this, mostly Poe 1 and Diablo 3. The atmosphere is to my liking.

Some insight to make the Sharran trials more or less trivial. Caution is always advised still as bad luck has killed a lot of lone wolves out there, me being one of those souls. With concentration and not talking the trials can be over in mere minutes. Have fun!

This fight will not be hard, especially with any number of warlocks. One character, a warlock would suffice, the lack of AI on the enemys part is a downer. Most fights in this game can be made trivial with hunger of haddar, sleet storm, grease and AOE spells. Hoping you will hit that like button if there is something likeable in this video! I am back at it again and now with upgraded ram, 32gb of ddr5 at 4800mhz. For this game I wholeheartedly recommend 1440p high, NO raytracing and dlss on balanced. It seems that in that save file Volo was a bit bugged. He normally runs away when you fail a steal roll, but he does come back. It makes things more tedious, but then again this is a given exploit that is not very honourable :) But if you are playing your first honour runs then this mechanism does give you atleast some edge.

Such an annoying fight in Honor Mode. I found that putting the bodies of the Death Shepherds into my Inventory once I killed them works wonders. Counterspelling the No Rest for the Wicked ability is also an option, though I didn't have the spell slots available.
I skip the fight often, because the gains are so marginal. Grease, plant growth and all the other terrain affecting crowd control spells are my go to method against strong enemies and groups :)
Perhaps I should pay more attention to my crappy inventory managing...oh well, order in chaos and so on...(yeah right)
The ambient game audio is really loud compared to your voice in this video 😮 At least in the inventory screen it got a bit lower so I could hear you Otherwise looking and sounding nice 😊

In 2077 the weapon is rather silly, has been made too powerful, the way you can use it like a whip, obviously used in this manner it would be too dangerous without protective gear on. In my opinion should be changed to a stealth weapon like in the original table top Cyberpunk RPG. Sneak behind and decapitate cleanly. Thats the way it was mostly, not this silly "they gave me an ultimate weapon swish swosh, where is my ability to roll while at it".
Whats your Frame rate averaging?
In that scenario the fps stays in 60 - 70s region, but in crowded areas around the city, with high crowd density, fps can drop to 50+ etc. This is why normal benchmarks, where people just drive around and there is little activity in he city, ultimately fail to show true performance. To me, only action and crowded areas reflect real situations in the game, not some place where there is nothing really happening. As the video shows, the resolution is 1440p, high / ultra, balanced dlss. Frame generation is on. It works like a charm in Cyberpunk. Without frame generation I suggest playing in 1080p.

The setup works well and I have run into very little problems. Just make sure you have the newest BIOS on the Legion Go: support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds565491-bios-update-for-windows-11-64-bit-legion-go-8apu1 I can recommend this setup to anyone who wants good gaming and even work performance while at home and plug and play ease of use while taking the Go where you want to take it. The performance is close to a similar cpu and gpu desktop performance, since the cpu does not impose too much bottleneck due to its power. Some performance, perhaps 15 percent is lost, due to the eGpu enclosure having less pcie lanes than on a desktop pc motherboard.
How is the battery backup
What do you mean by battery backup? All that comes to my mind is a UPS unit, but I do not use such.
If you mean how long the battery lasts while playing, I have not tested, I never play intense games via battery, since it is always a pretty lousy experience, unless the GPU and CPU loads are light. (Easy to run games). Estimatiion 1 - 2 hrs. Video playback 4 - 5 in my case, my preferences. About 6 hours of video playback in tests done by some websites.
Wait for that 4080 upgrade then we will see nice frames with everything maxed.

4K resolution often helps a lot and personally I prefer 4K over other resolutions, since I have a high quality 4K display.
