In this video, Dan Pink reveals a powerful yet often overlooked B2B sales strategy: strategic mimicry. While it may feel awkward at first, research shows that subtly mimicking a client’s gestures, posture, and even their language can significantly improve your chances of closing deals. Pink highlights how human beings are natural mimickers and how this tendency can be harnessed to build rapport and influence outcomes in both face-to-face and digital sales interactions. Specifically, in technical sales, repeating your customer's language-even if it's not technically accurate-makes them feel understood and leads to better results. Whether you’re in tech sales or any B2B role, this science-backed strategy could be the game-changer you've been looking for to boost your deal-making success.

    Yo, I have been using Do You Mail for a while now, and it is been fantastic. The ability to send unlimited emails without the hassle of managing various domains is a blessing. I have been experimenting with cold emails for a while now. I turned to Do You Mail about four months back, and it is been a revelation. The automatic SPF, DKIM, and DMARC integration is clutch. It took a lot of headaches out of the process. If you are serious about cold email, this is definitely worth considering.

    Is SaaS sales a future proof career? Long Term?

    • @chris.bussing
      @chris.bussing 3 дні тому

      @@AlanMurphy-gf8jw the SaaS market was valued at $197B in 2023 & is expected to be at 1298.92 by 2030. Things shifted to the cloud so businesses could operate with more agility & the pandemic only catalyzed that. Executives tend to buy out of the box SaaS solutions to solve their business problems. Especially for large strategic deals sellers are needed to build relationships with many stakeholders across an organization & attune with their needs through conversations (often in person). It has been said (I believe by top analyst Gartner) that the sales experience is 60% of what impacts customer purchasing decisions. In my interview with 7x NY Times best selling author Dan Pink he says modern b2b sellers, especially in the enterprise segment, are management consultants & the human element to sales is very important & isn’t going away. Did you come across anything that led you to believe SaaS sales isn’t a future proof career?

Nowadays this is not appreciated. I'm not stupid, I know what HR and recruiters are for. They manage people in profession while not knowing anything about it. It's ridiculous. The amount of interviews I've been to with manipulative tactics from the recruiter side also beyond ridiculous. Shame. Interviews should be done by leading employees, team bosses themselves.
