Interestig that in this version they changed Ziggy being accused of selling drug to childrren (which he does) to Reynolds and also they changed gerald (the husband of crazy Karen from Black Friday) to an anonymous Jerry instead, compared to the live version. Anyhow gorgeous animation. The feeling of the crowd turning against each other is very well showed.

I love the addition of the trio catching a glimpse of their true form before before they shift to their human guise.

Ok but can I just say how this PERFECTLY gets across just how scary a Mob Mentallity can be? That shot of Boy Jerry staring down at Bailey in particular just really sells how Mayor Lauter's fearmongering may have worked a little too well... (Also Blinky's purple eyes are a great touch)

The purple eyes adds a great implication that I never considered for this saga until now! You genius! The theory that, while they love big game by being summoned by some unexpecting citizen, the Lords in Black have actually been subtly taking over the entire populous of Hatchetfield this whole time...Blinky wants to see everything, so why not have the people be his eyes? Nibbly wants sacrifices, Honey Festival. Pokey wants a singular voice, the musical apocalypse and Yellow Jacket come to mind. Tinky...well, he just wants the Spankofskis if I'm honest, but they're in the town, too! And Wiggly's just at the top of the pentagram just watching the town crumble into insanity from all of the brothers' actions, while occasionally adding in his own fun with a popular toy line. The only balance Hatchetfield can hope for is Hannah and Webby, and NPMD takes place after the Foster sisters left Hatchetfield, removing her conduit of safety and becoming arguably the most chaotic tale from this town yet. All this theory took was purple eyes. You mad lad 😂

I’m not sure if it was purposeful, but when Blinky appears, the rip she comes out of is shaped sort of like an eye. My over-analyzation aside, this is absolutely stunning! Fabulous work. The designs are beautiful.

What’s even funnier (in case you haven’t seen the full musical” is that all the info they give is false! There was no gun involved! No witness descriptions at all! So they’re just spouting random nonsense! 😂
