This is why Berserk is so important, and still relevant in 2024. it reminds us what is true evil, and never to compromise with it, NO MATTER WHAT. Is life really worth anything if we do not hold on to our humanity? Does life have any meaning if we become servants to demonic inhuman monsters? Well I let you decide for yourself, but Guts certainly showed me the way...

Totally fits on a channel that does D&D story's. I was going through the current Monster Manuals months ago, and I fliching pretty hard as a Berserk fan in how many God-hand like entity's are within D&D's lore. Like how would Guts (Say a lv15/lv.18 Berserker) ever hope to face any of them? D&D is for Kids? Yeah Right!

Dara Rosenberg is great as Liriel, but unfortunately a somewhat subpar narrator... She seems to be constantly arching an eyebrow and commenting even on exciting fight scenes with a somewhat detached irony. Very fitting for the protagonist, less so for the rest. Maybe she just got too Stanislavsky about it. :)

Once again I found myself lock in a Room a Beijing Listening....to another Masterpiece of Story Telling.

This Scottish / ethically dubious fairy is an interesting character concept. Plus the sentient / pyromaniac hellhound pelt is just the cherry on top.

one of my most favorite stories, of all of the greyhawk/forgotten realms novels, i wish i had a Cinders.

My first FR book found it in a small bookstore in my college gfriend’s town…..been hooked ever since. My only D&D experience before that was Dragonlance

Here’s a fun drinking game every time she said the green eyed fighter, the raven haired mage, the hawk nosed thief or the scarred cleric take a shot lol I love this series
