I love both Universes but Stargate win this clearly. I mean the tauri will rebuild the replikators and this is enough tho destroy the reapers. And yea before anyonenask with killswitch. But here points for each race: Reaper: - Massive numbers of ships and troops - kinetic shilds - lowlevel ftl (dont forget they need the portels to) - lowlevel powerbeams - one defekt KI controlls them - dont have a operations base to build ne ships ( they need biological races) Stargate: - have advenced tech - have interstellar hyperengiene - have of the best 6 ships in the galaxy - anciant drohnes and defances - orbital defence - planetare defence - can build new ships - can put the earth in a other demension to safe it - have the anciant blueprints to rebuild the dakara weapon that can make the same as the citadel in mass effect Yes this is not all but i think this points are enough to proof that the tauri live long enough tho destroy the reapers and yes my english is not the beast sorry for this.

No. Born have a weakness to conventional weapon as shown when a holographic 1940s Tommy gun kills them Even with Shells how is that going to protect the body from the decompression as a bolter round explodes. Necrons also use nanotechnology so you have to sets of nanotechnology fighting each other, necrons are shown to be way more advance than we have seen the borg The borg infect by injecting people, most 40k races gave no issue killing their own people.

Yeah no. A Borg cube is only about twice as long as an imperial frigate and while they can function with extensive damage 40k weapons are beyond anything ST has any factions Battleship classes would melt a cube nearly instantly. Borg furthermore are not immune to kinetic damage and with 40k's heavy focus on meele their on the field activities would be very much problematic. As for the idea they could do anything against a craftworld? Borg most likely would get completly roflstompt by psyic powers and at the same time very unable to interact with wraithbone constructs in a meaningfull way. The idea the Borg have even a snowball in hells chance to adapt Necron tech is not even laughtable but plain sad. Necron Technology is so far beyond anything the Borg know it would be the same situation as with Species 8472 only way way worse.

One thing about BSG I hated was how in all the years Galactica was wandering around, after fleeing the Colonies, the crew never once tried to get the starboard-side flight pod operational again, if only in a limited role. The entire ship just seemed to totally forget about it.

They never had the chance, and they’d probably use up the spare parts they’d have on hand rebuilding launching space for fighters they don’t have. By the time the starboard flight pod could have been useful, they’d lost Pegasus and any chance of replacing those spare parts.

A Borg cube might be giant in Star Trek but it’s basically a tiny runabout in 40k. How are they going to adapt to a 15km long battle barge(a mid sized 40k ship) plowing straight through it? Any Star Trek faction trying to fight the imperium would be hilarious

Yeah... Na The Borg are toast, from the weapons I've seen in Star Trek, there mostly fancy lazers and the occasional torpedo. Because the federation is more for exploration than warfare... 40k on the other hand. The Imperial Navy alone could handle a few Borg cubes, their ships despite being very large can somehow keep up with something like the millennium falcon going with the official speeds. Not to mention the micro cannons on Imperial battleships aren't lasers. Their physical objects and last I checked the last time Star Trek had physical contact with fighting is... fist and the borg although enhanced always seems to be weak to physical attack or computer virus's. Sure the lace batteries might have difficulties because well they are lasers But then the torpedoes are quite literally hydrogen bombs That are launched at high speeds. And I don't think the Borg are going to find ramming into their cubes and then boarding to be very intelligent, meaning that they could be completely blindsided the first time it happens But then the second time it happens or the third they're still not going to be very prepared for The damage it can cause but depending on the faction they may not even be able to fight off. Who is boarding The regular Navy Is only less efficient than Space Marines and would plant a melta charge In whatever core the cube would have The Space Marines may just teleport some Terminators on But those things were originally meant as mining equipment and would have to take a lot of hits to go down. plus Space Marines being Space Marines, the only issue they'd have is not being able to fit through the hallways... Only for them to then bulldoze the hallways to the proper size by walking forward. And that's just the imperium The Admech may release a metal eating virus onto them or a black hole gun The Zeno's could do any number of things From running away and shooting like the Tau, or just using magic which I don't think any Borg shielding would be very helpful in that situation And then chaos exists Vashtorr would probably find them. Extremely interesting to say the least And then world eaters... Well One of them might get incinerated only for specs of blood to float around and reform them because Khorne liked them enough. Let alone Deamons Just not caring about What's being thrown at them. The Borg would be doomed before they make planet fall. And it gets so much worse when they get onto a planet, there's a reason why so many factions are focused on boarding actions.

I’m sorry but any ship with a Nova Cannon could game end a Borg cube with a single shot. The weakest projectile they fire is a nuclear weapon. That is their weakest form of ammunition On the higher end, they can create a black hole or create a small star inside its target that immediately goes supernova. Borg cubes may be tough, but they’re not black hole or supernova tough.

I don't think it would ve that easy, Warhammer 40k is way more extreme and hostile than their own universe personally i am confident that the psychic prowess of some of the factions would easily overwhelm the Borg especially influences from the chaos gods and various daemons because the borg have absolutely no defense against the forces of chaos and the influence or the warp. Also necrons weapons are millions of years ahead of even the borgs technology i understand that humans have bested and outmaneuverd necrons before however those circumstances were different and not the standard

Borg firepower is high megatons at most. A Dicator class cruiser comes armed with a Nova cannon, a weapon that fires a fusion shell the size of an office building at 99% of lightspeed. It will impact with a petaton level (i.e. "billions of megatons") kinetic strike... and then detonate. Imperium of Man torpedoes consist of hundreds of 5 gigaton warheads strapped together. Their ships are designed to ram and impact with many megatons of kinetic force and not even notice. And they can withstand their own firepower for hours, sometimes even days on end, and their technology is literally magic in some cases (and I do mean literally. 40k is a universe where prayer can make your weapon stronger and there is an entire species whose technology only works because they think it should.) The very *first* patrol fleet the Borg run into is going to destroy them. And that assumes its just the xenophobic pyromaniac space catholics that find them. God Emperor help them if its Eldar or a Chaos fleet...

The ballistic shields the Reapers have will dissipate some of the plasma from SG universe weapons, but not enough to stop real damage. While they have the numbers they do not have the real technology. SGC has some allies that do have FTL and energy-based weapons that would help that have shown up, but have been forgotten over the episodes. The Reapers have not done any real technology innovation in millions of years. Taking or destroying Earth wouldn't destroy the SGC/SGA, there are places where they could resetup shop and take the fight back. We can presume that Tauri now have acess to ORI ships tech , it would take only a few years to mass produce more ships and tech from multiple factions, Earth will be a powerhouse, so Reapers would need to invade very soon or right at the end of the "Shows" or else they would face a united galaxy with ancient, human and ori tech mixed together . If only the Stargate franchise had someone named John Shepard who has experience fighting both machines and a race that lies dormant before "waking up" and attacking civilizations that have reached a certain level of tech, who also have at least some ability to influence minds. Also speaking of the Wraith they can't just go back to the way things were; they woke up early and culled a ton of worlds in order to destroy Atlantis and use the information they were supposed to gather to find their new "feeding grounds"; and even if they hadn't it was implied in the series that they weren't even sustainable indefinitely with their whole cycle of cullings. Even if they didn't ally Earth if we told them that their new feeding grounds were being turned barren by the Reapers and gave them the ability to get here they would absolutely attack the Reapers. Who would win is hard to say (and indoctrination would be difficult since I doubt the Wraith would care to give their invasion fleets the ability to make a round trip), but it would absolutely distract both parties until we could find a way to kill one or the other. Also absolute worst case scenario there's always the whole Replicator thing we tried to do with the Ori.
