I do love the changes, but I don’t like making signature moves and abilities because I am not comfortable with fan made things as its not existing to the current games. Plus I do think that making Goodra as a threat is fine, but I want it to be in the fine lines between “OU” and “Ubers”. Plus I kinda more define that stat spread to be a “wall” archetype than a “special tank” as this entire build was based around Generation 1 Chansey. Where it tanked hits and hit back hard. With this stat spread you’ve used, I think Goodra doesn’t nearly hit as hard as it needs to hit.

@@theloyalbandito I just like the idea of buffing Goodra without dumping a bunch of points into it's offense. IMO Goodra's stats are not what's holding it back; it's the devs refusing to give it the tools it needs to utilize them. I'm gonna try to buff Goodra without changing its typing or base stats at all. I'm gonna replace two of its abilities with abilities that already exist, and I'm gonna give it two new moves that also already exist. The two new moves would be recover and earth power. As for the abilities I'd replace sap sipper with regenerator, and hydration with sheer force. Like I said, everything else remains unchanged. This pretty much gives Goodra two really good sets to run; the first being regen vest with moves like scald and knock off, and the other being effectively Nidoking on crack. If Nidoking can be a top threat in NatDex RU with its base stats imagine what a pokemon with actual stats could do. Regenerator is something that Goodra should have had from the start giving it actual recovery and sheer force is just incredibly fun on a pokemon with this sort of movepool. To give you an idea a sheer force + life orb boosted move form a base 110 special attack does the same damage as a 130 base special attack holding a choice specs. If you wanted to go even farther you could give it the dragon/water typing which would improve its defensive capabilities as well as give it a STAB option to use with sheer force, that being scald.

@ i do agree with these buffs, i wanted to something special that can make it feel more unique than just giving it Sheer Force and Regenerator, but i’ll be planning on making a “Re-Up” video or a video to change some stuff that I haven’t really did change and add that up for base.

That’s Hisuian Goodra you’re talking about. Hisuian Goodra has dropped its speed from base 80 to base 60. Kalosian Goodra is base 80.

That's why I wanted to fix this Pokemon, Earthquake or Earth Power can be a good move, but Stomping Tantrum is a good enough move I thought. Mainly, I wanted it to not get walled out by certain dragons.

I do agree with that, i have thought of it be a much better defensive typing that could work as what most casual fans would want, but I completely understand why people wanted to keep it as a Fire and Flying-type.

It was because of a few things in which a special attacker was too common amongst fixing things so i wanted to do something different

Besides i also is a “Garchomp” level special attack, so it will be fine if it does mixed sets

i mean, i completely understand why people hate this idea, and it's an easy put-together idea... the only reason why I feel Fire/Dragon is better compared to its base typing is because I feel that its a better competitive typing. The Levitate Ability is only there to put its "flying" roots.
