Turn "divided by 5" into "times one-fifth" and it doesn't matter if you go from left to right or not. 10 + 45 * 1/5 * 3 = 10 + 9 * 3 = 10 + 27 = 37.

More explanation needs to be clarified with the multiplication and division from left to right. If the division is left of the multiplication, does the division operation come before the multiplication? This is confusing if different teachers are teaching this concept of pedmas different.

Five minute video to explain what should take a "normal" person five _seconds_ to figure out. The middle part of the equation, " ÷ 6 x 6", cancels out, leaving the simple equation 36 ÷ 3, or 12. Took me less time to type this out than the video took to explain it.

21÷3×7. What is the disagreement. If divide first then it is 21/3=7×7=49 If you multiply first it is 21×7=147÷3=49. Most of you are saying 3×7=21. But it is ÷3×7=7/3×21=49 Furthermore -2+3=-(2-3) Likewise ÷3×7 =÷(3÷7)=÷3/7 If you still have doubts simply change div to multiplication and invert divisor. 21×1/3×7= 49.
