If it’s local to you, word of mouth is a great way to get that info. Would also imagine there are reviews on Google tho. Don’t base your opinion on a rival school lol, setting yourself up for bias

We have many students who decided to change careers - veterans, truck drivers, even folks who worked white collar jobs. It’s never too late!

I graduated from WyoTech December 2023 and drove back down to Texas to look for a job and nobody had heard of WyoTech or cared that I went to a trade school when I mentioned it on my resume. Finally after applying to like 30 shops I got hired and started off as a lube tech helper/ tech B, then a lead tech lube tech and now I’m starting as a ford diesel helper/ tech B. It’s been 7 months of me working there and what helped me get those opportunities was because I was super humble unlike all the other techs starting out. So I would recommend to save your money and apply as a lube tech to dealerships. Boss man don’t care that you went to a trade school, you will start like everyone else

@@timonraccoon I did something similar, I knew nothing at all about cars but got a job at valvoline and learned by working on my own car and eventually found a job at a shop that would teach me. That being said I still wish I went because I would be a really good mechanic had I done that rather than still not really knowing what im doing a lot

It's important to note that he did this build outside of class time, not in class. Many of our students apply what they learn in class to work on a personal vehicle after school.

What happened man? Sounds like a beautiful build, I love the 1M.

@stewartfield1386 drunk driver in a stolen car came down a 1-way and hit me head-on. She went up in flames pretty quickly and entire front of the car is burnt to virtually nothing. Rest of the frame is totally wrecked. I owned the car outright so I got to keep the remains. She's sitting in my garage under some tarps and the original parts I kept. I did most of the build myself but I'm way out of my league at this point.

Don’t know if you’ll respond but when they came to my class this week they said shared rooms are 3-450 (don’t remember exactly) and I believe a personal solo room is around 650

And also the costs for water etc is included in the cost
