ok, wheres the tutorial?
GREAT BUILD AND VIDEO , Subscribed :) would it be possible to have copy of the file of the build so i can roleplay with it , understand if not :)
I’m still trying to figure out how I want to make this happen, but currently focused on getting a few more videos out. So, coming soon-ish!
Blueprint now available on Valheimians! Link in description.
(his friends )watch out there is a goblin in your base (the guy) no don't worry he's my friend
He's been there for so long now that he probably has squatter's rights.
Very pleasant and enjoyable video. The views, voice-over, and the build are excellent. Look forward to more.
Thanks for watching! Working on the next video now.
I love this build! Would you consider doing a build tutorial? Or if not, perhaps just giving the dimensions and floorplan? I would LOVE to replicate this at my farm.
I love this one too! I’ll see if I can work up a build video in the future.
@@HiImKlaus That would be great! Thank you!
The interior shape of the builds is spectacular. It becomes more than a square shape box with a roof. Truly all various of rooms and stair cases and halls to walk through makes all the difference to a build , you achieved visual success!
Thanks for all the comments! This is one of my favorites. The different rooms really helped me create a unique roofline. Cheers!
!!!! PARDON ME BUT where did you get those copper tankards !!!!????? i love all your builds! All of it tells a story of adventure action and mystery.
Those are dvergr tankards. You can find them at the dwarf homes in Mistlands! They’re great!
I cannot thank you enough for this! What a treat this was discovering out of the blue on my youtube home page. I need various of ideas to form a village that i am aiming to make happen in my valheim world to inspire a mini story adventure writing that i plan on posting on those post signs for reading in game. Too bad the game does not offer us a book to write in to put in a book to put book on the book shelf. It sounds complex but it really isn't as i am sure you know what i explaining. Anyway this is exactly what i need and i am collecting ideas to put together so when walking a trail or even riding a lox on trail , it would be dreamy to trail along and find a village this cute to explore and spend the night before heading for the mountains for some priceless valuable silver worth risking your life for haha.
I’m glad this video found its way to you! Your story idea sounds pretty cool. I hope you share some pics of your village when it’s done!
@@HiImKlaus mine won't be worth much to share lol if anything it will have your ideas and influences, not much i can do to make it one of a kind since there are limited options and i don't use mods. but ty for the kind words! :)
I bet you’re gonna build something awesome! I don’t use mods either. They’re just not for me. You got this!
@@HiImKlaus you rock! i did manage on one world i unfortunately ended up deleting due to corrupt files, i can build it again, i built it in the deep north, two different styles of the Prancing Pony Inn, and along with it a mini town that had the works for Christmas time theme sort of going on with the town build. i would need to do that on creative mode of course and do so in the deep north so not to disrupt my regular game play. if i ever get around to it and finish it , i will share a few pics of it some how.... i just remembered that valheim plans to upgrade the deep north so i am not sure if building there is ok , maybe i will find a mainland mountain to build on that is in the previous locations just to be safe.
Great build is it downloadable ?
Not yet. “Coming SoonTM.”
do one for the drakkar, like an upgrade
I’ve got a couple of ideas!
Do you have a community server or anything? Looking for others to play with. Thanks!
That corner entrance change really made a drastic difference. 👌 Mrs. Klaus has a good eye!
I’m a lucky guy!
Gimme that fireplace!
I’m literally giving it away!
I have to echo the other comments here, the edit on this is fantastic. The pull back/wrap around build shots are sick. Well done. You continue to impress Klaus. Gonna have to check it out (and the huge bridge you teased at the end) during the con.
I think you’d really like that bridge base! Maybe Marble and I should refurbish it for a video one day. Hmm…
I have a question, do you plan the buildings beforehand or while building within the game?
It’s a little bit of everything all rolled into one. Sometimes I have a very clear vision. Other times, I’m building on the fly and it feels like a Bob Ross painting. Like, “Oh, let’s add a happy little balcony here and a tower there.”
@HiImKlaus thats a beautiful comparation
I didn't even know Valcon was a thing!!! 😭 Oh man this build is lovely. Valheim's playerbase may have dropped, but I sincerely believe there won't be another game like it. Not even Enshrouded can scratch that exploration and build itch.
It’s a thing! I’ve peeked behind the curtain and there are some very fun things to see. Valheim is a one of a kind game and community!
Really cool build! I have spent almost 1500 hours into Valheim and based on my experience i really do enjoy the more medium sized builds like yours! Just subbed and plan to follow your future content. Hope you plan to add the following; Forge Hunting cabin Kitchen Mead hall Church Docks
Thanks for the input! Medium sized builds are my jam, so you’re in the right place. I have some upcoming videos that’ll check off a couple of those builds.
Beautiful work as always! Lovely editing and commentary
Thanks Gwen! You and Val-Con team are the best! Skol!
Just found you, and this video was so great. The editing and build are literally chef’s kiss!
Thanks for that! This one was a challenge to edit.
Well worth it. Your personality and style come through so well! I can’t wait for the next one. And also a great advert for Val-con and hope I can visit 😊
My five-year old son and me love your builds! It's amazing how you come up with these clever solutions for the interior. The effort you put into the cinematography of your videos really pays off. It always feels so cozy to watch your videos :) Hope that you'll create many more.
Comments like this really mean the world to me! I’m glad you two can enjoy these videos together. That’s so awesome! Definitely more to come.
Great Build! Love the editing, your videos always have such a cozy vibe :D
Coming from you that means a ton! Thank you!
Outstanding build!
Thanks!
#VikingsUnite!
Skol!
Thanks for the info about Valcon. I’ll look into that some more!
For sure. I’ve seen some pretty awesome builds on the server. Lots of inspiration!
the level of cinematogrophy is so cool. the slow backwards zoom thrue the upstairs portion while it slowly gets more and more filled with details is so beautifull. i got a few nice new inspirations of your videos and im happily looking forward for more. <3
I’m really happy with how that shot turned out! It was tons of work, so I’m glad you noticed!
hey, long time valheim player here. I just came across your channel and really admire the effort you put in your vid from the cinematography and build ideas. I might even found a use for building like this in my next playthrough when next update rolls around.
Thanks, that’s means a lot!
Would you be willing to share the world save for your builds?? They are awesome love them all! Need to see more!!
Thanks! The short answer is, “Not yet.” All the builds exist on a single world, and I’m still creating there too. Definitely more to come on this channel though.
@ you could make a Patreon or something and charge a small fee. Love them all build keep it up
HGTV: Valheim
I should use more shiplap!
Hello Klaus, are there any video guides on how you build this house? It's very rare to find a beautiful house that will have storage and also decor
I don’t have any guides at the moment. I’m testing out a “build” style video next, so I’ll be looking for feedback!
@@HiImKlaus Oh, that would be awesome. I'm just trying to rebuild the manor and I think I have figured out the overall dimensions. Only pieces missing are the observatory and the stairs... oh and the stone foundation, which seems to be a bit bigger than the wood part of the building.
You guys are too awesome! The main dimensions of the two wings are 10m wide, 18m long, and 6 meters high. Central hall is 10m by 10m, with a max wall height of 11m, and 16m at the roof peak. The observatory is 6m deep. There's a flat 4m front and then 2m beams turn in 1 click each from there. I almost never use iron beams, because iron cage pieces cover more square footage and walls cleanly cover over them, which creates depth in the windows. Most cage pieces in windows, on this structure, run the height of the entire wall. There's no iron in the floor of the observatory. Only in the vertical support beams holding it up. On my build that isn't really necessary, because part of the manor clips a boulder nearby, which provides support for half of it. I would love to see photos when you're done!
Oh, to measure out the foundation around the walls, place a wooden door against a wall piece, then use the snap points on the bottom to put the stone in by half a meter. Good luck!
Fkn brilliant man, brilliant
Instant sub, beautiful work, team up with Versaugh and make a small city in a collaboration!!! Man I wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow 😢 I’ve talked with a few other popular builders and all of them seem to avoid using mods for the builds. Now, I absolutely respect all the tricks many of you have figured out with vanilla and the work you do is incredible!! But with all the building mods out there… man… Just use one mod for me, please 🙏 It’s called “comfy gizmo” this mod should 💯 percent be the default way we are allowed to build in the game. I especially like using large stone floor pieces as wall pieces by being able to rotate them. Diagonal glass pieces for skylights, steeper ramps, or more shallow ramps. Not to mention the absolute massive amount of other custom build pieces. One set has these really cool pieces that are kinda similar to a wicker basket. They are really awesome to create massive ornate window dressings, likewise with rugs, which can be placed upright to make faux doorways. Valkea…. Is absolutely amazing…. It has everything from bathroom and kitchen sinks, flower pots of all kinds, truly remarkable stuff, I couldnt imagine what a builder with your skill could do with that content!
I love Versaugh’s towns. He uses so many unexpected pieces in interesting ways. I might incorporate mods into some future builds, and gizmo is one I’ve got my eye on.
This is sweet! do you have a copy of the world file you can share so we can look around in game?
I don’t have one to share at the moment, but there’s a 50% shot it’ll be set up on the Val-Con server from Feb.1-2.
So bummed I missed this when it first came out. Better late than never, though
As a wise man once said, “A wizard is never late!”
Amazing work! I'd like to celebrate Christmas and New Year in a place like that
I made sure to portal over on Christmas. Worth it!
I’m saving a Christmas build until the full deep north update
I’m more excited for the Deep North than I was for Ashlands. It’ll definitely have some North Pole vibes.
Spectacular small house I’m stealing it to inspire my next build
Thanks! Hope you enjoy it!
Great build, looks so cozy and comfy! I admire your building skills :)
Thank you! I always try to make builds that feel lived in, so I’m happy people feel that too!
Huge inspiration! Beautiful build❤
That means so much! Thank you!
looks great, but wouldve used some better storage boxes. I find that the iron ones, or black metal ones just give more appeal.
I love the iron crates. I never have many during most of my survival play throughs though, so I think that’s why I tend to place the normal ones around. Cheers!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
oh wow.. dude.. so good. well done.. - ur story tellin is prity kool.
Piece of art
Thanks so much! This is one of my favorite builds.
Are your builds available for download?
Not yet, but this is something I want to accomplish in the future.
Truly impressive build my friend! And I love the chill edit 😁
Cheers! Good luck with your settlement!
@HiImKlaus thanks man! All the best with the channel, keep up the great work. And merry Christmas! 😊
Hell i wish i could make something this the time and skill is amazing.
Time to start building! I think you’ll surprise yourself.
the chances of me bothering to dock the ship in that small space are 0 but it looks incredible +1
Backing in is a total pain in the rear, but pulling in works just fine! We came in as fast as we could during a storm once and it caught us perfectly. No major injuries! XD
how does this work?
No mods. Built in Hammer Mode. The iron in the windows supports the height. The rest is some planning, followed by lots of tinkering.
@@HiImKlaus So you didn't use any iron beams except for the observatory? Just the iron in the windows? Is the iron from bottom up to the ceiling and then party hidden by wood wall elements?
wtf is that?! Thats the best and most real detail Building ive ever seen in my live! Holy.... Im so impressed...
Thank you!
My favorite bit @4:17… just has soo much character to it! Happy Holidays, awesome job!
I’m very happy with how everything turned out. So glad you enjoyed it too! Happy Holidays!
