Honestly not quite sure if I like the song or not. There's elements I really enjoy but not sure as a whole. It's very well done. Just not my personal preference, so I don't mean that in a way of discouraging it. But I have to say, the video and effects kept me glued. It felt like I was watching some hidden track downloaded from a secret server in some hackers bedroom. Like I was hearing something important. Just my opinion on the video but almost everything felt purposeful, it didn't feel like a bunch of random effects for the sake of effects, that's why I made my comment about the feeling I gained from it. It made so much sense with the lyrics, lore in the description, sound, etc. The footage of the vocalist felt very primal and fit really well with the effects. But the guitarist footage just looked like low effort fill-in and took away from the vibe of the video even though the guitar work, especially near the end is amazing. But the footage itself just felt tacked on, like "yeah we need to show someone playing something" rather than fitting the theme and visualization of the video. Which is a shame because the video is clearly high effort and took a lot of time to edit. I wish the guitarist footage would have been more implied or abstract instead of literally just some basic close up footage thrown in. It was the only part that felt uninspired and not creative.
