We along with my other dogs are socialized from puppies. They are used to all manner of hands people sizes sexes and touch. They all come through with flying colors. So far have been bombproof even with dogs scared of them. My grandchildren help with this teaching what play is appropriate. And my dogs love listen and play right with them. Amazing to watch them gently be with elderly and even handicap in wheelchairs. No fear no coming up on them unless asked. And my OES being a puppy draws everyone with his looks.

I realize if you do not give a smart dog a job they sometimes pick to keep out other animals from their yards. Not people but animals. The animals that are not allowed come when they are in. Ex deer squirrels etc. At night the back lights warn them and giving them enough time to leave yard.

😊I now have both. A 11 year old Bloodhound a 5 yr old rough coat collie and a 3 mo old old english sheepdog puppy. Love them all their quirks and their personalities.
