Anya, here, and I'm a wax addict to the max! I fell in love with wax not long after becoming a mom and wanted a way to make my home smell amazing without having any sorta flame (or temptation) that my son could get into. I'd always find myself stopping in the candle aisle at the big box stores and spending a good amount of time just smelling them, and then I'd take them home, and rarely use them because I'd be worried they'd get knocked over and they would sit in a drawer just wasting away. Through a high school mate of mine, I discovered Scentsy and was immediately hooked. Got my first warmer, and bars, and it was game over for me. Ever since then, my collection in wax bars and warmers have grown, and I've found my niche of people who share the same love of home fragrance and the power behind it all and making scent memories. I'm a goob, and you can't take life too seriously because it's hard enough as it is. 🤗

Hi Anya! With Crumb Top and Graham Cracker Crunch, do you blend these bars with anything or do you melt on their own. I have 1 bar of each and was wanting to use them as a blender with something. Just not sure which way to go. Have a great day.
@@CandleNurse Crumb Top is a great blender for a strawberry or any fruit really, but I truly just enjoy it on it's own. It's also really good to add to say an apple pie scent that is missing that dough note. Graham Cracker Crunch is amazing with a jam scent, for a PB&J vibe. Vender raspberry or blackberry would be amazing, or our beloved strawberry jam 🥰

Hey there. Do you like perfectly pomegranate from Scentsy?
@@CandleNurse I did enjoy that one. My son did too. We actually used a scent pack in his locker and he always got compliments when his friends walked by. What are your thoughts on it? I liked it because it was sweet and fruity, and has no spice, which can sometimes cause a headache for me. I also liked Jeweled Pomegranate but that has an orange note it, which is enjoyable too. It's a deeper more rich pomegranate.

Hi Anya, pink lavender and espresso I need to pick up from Teddy Bees you totally sold me on it. You did quite a bit of lavender and caramel this past week. Carmel scents are perfect for fall, it’s really the only time of year I melt it. It’s so cool that you make your own wax, you can just whip up a batch of any scent you want. ❤
Hey girl! Love your wax reviews! Could you elaborate on how you melt down the candles to make melts? I have like 5 of the pink lavender and espresso candles from SAS that have the worst wicks. It would be awesome to make them into shapes to melt at a later date:
@@CandleNurse I used the double boiler method. I have a pot that I use only for crafting, that I fill half way with water, and then put 2 Mason jar rings at the bottom to rest the vessel on (no direct contact with the bottom of the pot). Bring to a simmer (like on low) and then carefully put the candle in the pot on the rings. I only melt it about halfway, so I'm able to cut into it, chunk it up and then put the wax in my stainless steel pouring pot. Then melt the whole shebang over low heat (takes a while to melt down but keeps the integrity of the fragrance oils in the wax), stir for a minute and then poured them into my souffle tins. Shapes would probably be better as the wax they use is tart wax. I would recommend seeing other videos. I just did this on a whim, haha, without instruction. You may be able to skip the "melt halfway and chunk the wax" part and continue melting in the vessel, but I didn't want to risk the chance of the glass breaking so I didn't. Eh, proceed with caution. 😊🙏

BBW just had a $13.95 candle sale and PL&E was $10.46 with a 25% coupon. I freakin, love that candle too. And Tiffany’s blend is even better IMO. I feel like you get a little bit more of the espresso in hers. It’s amazing. Great empties Anya!

Great order! I haven’t ordered from Dessa’s either but received things in gifts and destashes! I’ve also had great performance with her wax! I’m most intrigued by the cronut scent since I haven’t had one in real life. I’m glad you purchased a nice variety of scents! I’ve had the tile shapes from another vendor and I really liked them.
