J'ai skié avec Patrick son frère François son fils et sa femme, c'était génial a l'aiguille du midi, le poubelle, les bosserons , je ne les oublies pas 🙏🙏🙏
I was good friends with jacques in the early 1980's. We shared an apartment at UBC in Vancouver. He was in the process of becoming a financial manager then. Anyway, I haven't seen him since but he was doing really well then. Great guy.
@@johnbaril4662 thanks for answering, his family has lost all trace of him despite many efforts to find him, so discouraging...I am a good friend of one of his two sisters, his parents have both passed away without any knowlege of where he is or what happened to him. cheers
we are going to jump a 200 foot waterfall. like wtf. how those 2 yahoos got people to believe they where gonna ski it boggles the mind. ptor and troy finally did ski it tho, without news crews, helicopters or fanfare
I skied the same shit equipment back in the 1980s. It was the best at the time but the skis didn't turn themselves. I skied all day on the Omeglass but a pure race ski like Dynamic VR-17s I would get tired after half a day. Patrick was climbing the mountains so a foam core Dynastar was the way to go. But you are right, unreal. A lot of balls, he was my idol. I skied the steepest and icy trails in the East but this is another realm!
The first film is called Papik L'enfant Du Mont Blanc from 1982. I remember seeing it during an evening of ski films during a visit to Courchevel around that time.
RIP ZACKE ❤
5:44 "Because it's there." These two clueless clowns should've stayed home. How'd they get talked into something like this so far over their heads?

Unreal. Just unreal. So bold. Look at that shit equipment. Modern day gear makes descents like this easier no question
