I have cried a many tears listening to her sing and I don't mind shedding them at all. She's a vocal powerhouse that is really slept on because she doesn't have to exploit herself by dressing provocatively like some of her younger counterparts. One of the things I hate about a Lalah Hathaway show is that she tends to drag out each song. “Forever…” doesn’t need to be 10 mins long. And she never does any of her recent music. Perform “Let Go”, “That Was Then”, “Small of My Back”, “If You Want to”, “My Everything”.
