We can often think that “it wont happen to us” or “I’m too switched on to become an addict” but as Simon explained in part 1; it will happen without you even realising.
The addictive substances trick you into thinking you’re the one who’s in control; you’re the one who knows best, everyone else just doesn’t understand. But what happens when you lose all control? How does that feel? None of us are immune to that possibilty.
Listen to Simon’s account as he fell down that slippery slope and his journey with a live-in rehabilitation clinic to be where he is now! The most empathetic and worldly coach we have at FF.

    Taco squat machine basically. I think the other way is the better exercise, but tbh the classic sled hack squat is probably the mich more useful machine as you can potentially get really deep flexion and really work quads - it's not really a squat, it's something else. A lot of modern hack squats have the weight in the wrong spot, which v/super squat machines tend to do better at - though having the weight in front of you largely negates the benefits. They both tend to be very lengthened-biased, but sled hack squat generally easier to reverse band to mitigate.

      Nope, it's about the same as a hack squat, but I like the hack squat more for quads

    Should I load weight on both ends, or do they cancel each other?

      Front loading counterbalances, so it makes it easier. Good for beginners who can't do many reps even when the machine isn't loaded with any weight.

    REALLY REALLY bad form ..the handles were way out of reach and were probably that way because of reverse delt flys. but the narrator didn't have the gentleman straighten the bars first which forces him to reach back beyond a comfortable range of motion. Mounting and dismounting will cause shoulder dislocation.. REALLY TERRIBLE video.

      I use this machine or a hack squat machine specifically BECAUSE of back pain and it alleviated all of my issues and allows me to keep squatting. Squatting in general also strengthens your knees so that's just wrong

    THE BACK IS SUFFERING HELL Please don't do it like here. You need to fully support your back either you place your chest or you tuck in stomach to make sure your abs are activated and your back will NOT arch.

      Not sure. Not a doctor but if you do I certainly wouldn't put a lot of weight on. That being said when used properly I think this is a kinder machine than most. I can easily max out most of these machines for a few reps and I don't consider myself to be very strong I'm about 150 pounds 5 feet 9, 28 year old male. This exercise is riskier for the knees than anywhere else I'd say. Get advice from your doctor/physiotherapist. I have a dodgy ankle because I tore a ligament in it years ago but I've never had any problems with this machine it's a personal favourite to end my workouts on along with leg press because usually I check my messages and emails while sitting and cooling down a little.

    Bro, it's not supposed to be used this way, ahaha. He's definetly trolling :) Just squat normally, if you wana do barbell squats. If you can't do them because of lower back pain, then use the machine the way it's meant to be used, lmao

      Most of these machines are actually built to be used forward or reverse. Look at the pads at the top and how they are curved, it's meant for you to also face the opposite direction. I didn't believe it either for the longest time cause I agree the movement looks funny. Having many years ago used a v squat at my local gym for the first time low and behold.. it actually does show it can be used in reverse on the manufacturer instruction stickers on the machine lol. I never knew till then.
