Hello! I teach art at a high school in Idaho and use this channel to mostly post instructional videos and examples for my students.
I also love the outdoors and spend much of my time backpacking the wilderness of Idaho. I enjoy drawing landscapes of places I've been. You'll find some that are drawn from both memories I have of these places and from photographs that I've taken on my trips. I hope you enjoy them!

My wife has a Japanese painting kit and a how to book. I practiced painting bamboo until I got it....so fun!
These remind me of a time once when my grandpa was sitting at the kitchen table and started sketching. Just simply throwing down some pencil and comes out looking so cool!
