    Thank you. This is powerfully therapeutic work. Occasionally I visualize breathing through the pores of my skin to accentuate the whole body feeling and it’s amazing how the tissues are recruited to move in unison. I have had a total shoulder replacement on the right side and it is still possible to gently stretch the joint capsule while protecting against over extension and disconnect from the total body movement. The milking action on the facial web and joints makes my body feel like a large concertina. It sounds absurd until one tries it heh heh.

    Thank you for sharing why this works I never new you could manipulate people with this I always practiced Empty Force training but that seemed to be making me sick condense breathing however heats my body makes me powerful I feel all my body now whereas before I couldn’t feel certain body parts without touching them another suppriseing gift of this method is when I just preformed Dantian breathing I would get up and not feel the chi as strong as when I’ve spent an hour breathing into it but now when I wake up it’s in my whole body when my mind goes to the Dantian it always seems full does this condense breathing stop energy leakage somehow I wasn’t expecting this at all I cannot visualize but just setting an intention to suck chi into my body my bones my muscles my tendons really is the best thing I’ve done apart from cultivate the lower middle and upper Dantian

    What's the science behind this? Are you using your body as a whole "first class lever"? So instead of using your arms only, the force is being transmitted direct from the ground? Good video!

    Is it safe to say that you found out the split wire loom you used is not water tight even when "gooped up?" Not sure exactly what you did but it doesn't sound watertight or waterproof. Also, try a PWM for the speed control, they work great but make sure the amp rating is correct so you don't burn out the board.

    For the price of a half a 2x6 you could just mount the trolling motor on the front and total cost with out the wood is under $10.00. Then you can steer without all the pulleys or to have to duck your head. Motor in the front,battery in the back evens out nicely on this boat. Why you make this so difficult is beyond me. A factoid for you,on a minn kota the draw on the battery is the same on level 1 as level 5. You have to spend the big bucks for alternating current motors.

    So I made the double tire mod, but what are you guys doing with the tires while your in the water? Storing it where? Or is there a problem just leaving them on and letting them get submerged for several hours?

    • @jedibill111
      @jedibill111 3 роки тому

      Other than drag, I would say no. The air in the tires would give you a bit more buoyancy I would think. And I would imagine that the tires would act somewhat like a keel and keep you from getting blown around by the wind as much. Just a guess as I don't get my XT until next week. Can't wait!

    Hi great video I was wondering if you could make a video how to make the swivel seat Colorado

  • @GetInShapeWithDavid
    @GetInShapeWithDavid 4 роки тому

    first part of this video didn't load. I had the Colorodo XT frame on a car rack on the roof of my car. The car roof buckled and allowed some space between the car and the rack. I lost the frame under the wheels of a semi. I am selling the pontoons, Gear bag, line basket and two wheel dolly for 100.00. The motor has less than one hundred hours on it. See the video for more details.

    I recently purchased one of these and I really like the idea of doing the dual wheels for transport. But I'm wondering how to store it while I'm fishing. With the single wheel I can just pivot the axle sideways but that's not gonna happen with dual wheels. Any ideas? Besides hiding the wheels in the bushes while I fish haha

    Hi David, Is there anything that could help me understand how to get into the connective tissue? I've been following Howard Wang's and Mark Rasmus's work for about a year, and I have some training in Systema (M. Ryabko's school). I wish I could get a better grasp on how you know you're connected to your partner's fascia. Thanks a lot!

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 4 роки тому

      Charles, Thanks for reaching out. Are you familiar with Tai Chi rollback, or repulse the monkies? Have a partner grab your wrist. Put your mind on your partners feet. If you step backward they should move with you without you having to pull at all. That's how you know you are correct. Also push forward, with no effort you should get an effect from your partner. Im in VA are you close?

    • @davidcohen2991
      @davidcohen2991 3 роки тому

      Simple exercise. Find a partner and have them place their arms as if they are holding a ball, or balloon, Place your hands gently on your partners forearms. Push gently and get their shoulders to move first, then the body. Repeat the exercise[ do not change hand position]. This time when you push ty to move your partners hips first. Repeat and shoot for the feet first. When you get good at that, practice on cantact then add techniques. BTW. I learned that from Mark.

    How do you practice opening the joints to achieve power?

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 4 роки тому

      Place your arms out in front of you. Then start reach for something that is slightly out of your grasp. Open the shoulder, the elbow, palms and fingers. Then work ankles, calves, knees hips.

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 3 роки тому

      Sorry this took so long. Make your Tai Chi Ball. Once you feel the energy in your hands gently extend your fingers, open your palms. This will change the vibration between your hands. Repeat the exercise open the elbows, palms and fingers again feel the difference in the vibrational quality repeat again. On the third round extend the shoulders slightly. Then you can work on ankles and knees. I hope this helps. BTW it will also fine tune your chi and sensitivity.

    Hi there, how did the battery work out? I have the Colorado XT and weigh in at a lot myself so need less weight. Your battery idea, if it worked would be ideal. Can you provide an update lease?

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 5 років тому

      The smaller battery worked great. Three hours constant movement. When I got home my meter showed full charge. My biggest issue is getting the steering more responsive.

  • @jeremybusby1724

    May consider a solar panel o help recharge the battery while you're on the water.

  • @GetInShapeWithDavid

    The oar steering is a great idea, thank you for that. I used the eye bolts here but changed over to pvc. The extra support on the motor shaft made the steering more responsive.

  • @mikeazzopardi8662
    @mikeazzopardi8662 6 років тому

    I use the oars to steer my boat, i basically dip both oars in the water with the motor going straight and locked in that position. Push on the right oar to go left, push on the left oar to go right, the oars also once in the water help the boat to track in a straight line, works great.
