I see i was far from alone in thinking that the first part of the riff was very similar to Rainbow- Spotlight kid, its far from the only thing he got from Blackmore though, the destroying of the guitar was done pretty much in detail as Blackmore did it about 10 years earlier and of course he also took the neoclassical part and took it further. I say this as someone that likes at least old Yngwie and im also from Sweden, Blackmore is my favourite player though.
this is the peak of Yngwie i think he never played more like this, the era of Alcatrazz, i love this Yngwie, less compressor and Heavier gauge strings, he plays now in 0.8 and i think destroyed his sound
Not by yngwie tho, the comproser Graham Bonnet from Alcatrazz was originally a Rainbow Singer, but when Richie kicked him and he made alcatrazz, he wrote jet to jet as sort of a parody of Sportlight Kid, except Jet to Jet has a more darker overall tone.
@@TrochezCovers but Yngwie being a Blackmore fan probably had something to do with it, i mean this isn't the last time that Yngwie took some inspiration from a blackmore song (Demon Driver's riff was inspired by Dead or Alive)
Interesting to hear the difference between Jeff Scott Soto and Graham Bonnet live. Soto's high notes are smooth and clear, but Bonnet in the live version didn't sound anywhere near as good, like he'd had a bad night before.

このビデオ…。パフォーマンスや演奏に問題はないのですが、映像のエフェクトが過剰で、それ以上に全編不自然なオーディエンスの歓声が加えられていて、とても鑑賞に耐えられるものではないものでした。当時高価格でしたので失望もかなり大きかったです。エフェクトを加える前の動画が公開されればかなりの貴重な映像でしょう。
