I made a bunch of little but crucial mistakes.

Once you step away bc you’re done but then you realize you forgot something.. if time allows can you step back up and do it again?

@@lizqueenme3496 I get that, nerves can get the best of us -- To your question, Can you step back up? Yes, however you want to use your best judgement. Make sure you sanitize and have more time left to do whatever you may have forgotten, then step back again. Keep in mind, they may have already scored you on what you're correcting... OR they didn't even noticed you messed up, but because you stepped back up they now know something was wrong/forgotten. Does that make sense?

It is your choice to wear the mask throughout the service during the practical application however, it is mandatory to wear it during the micro dermabrasion application process

Hey there! You no longer have to double bag during blood exposure. Put it in the trash, wear a glove during the remainder of the spill. Not other sections. Be sure to sanitize throughout the process.

Can you share what your source is that says that? The most recently updated esthetics CIB updated as of 9/11/2024 still shows a blood contamination bag as one of their suggested examination items for universal supplies. Asking because I train also and we want to always train correctly. Thanks!

@@EstyVette We based the stateboard practical on the NIC BOOKLET that can be found on the PSI WEBSITE for preparation of the practical portion from the stateboard. Are you in the state of Georgia? Every state is different! Our school owner has yearly meeting with PSI as well. Double bagging has not been a requirement for over 5 years. The rationale they provided is that it’s no longer considered biohazard and it doesn’t have to be labeled biohazard and double bag because a small blood spill can be placed in the trash can and is not a biohazard.

Hey! That is not a section on the test. The chemical services include --> chemical waving, predisposition/strand test, hightliging with foils virgin application, hair color retouch, and virgin hair relaxer.
