Whoever keeps spelling Amazons as “Amazon’s” its plural, doesn’t need an apostrophe, also all these women mentioned who led armies (of men none the less) and fought in battles has nothing to do with the Amazons , i think the closest inspiration behind the myth are The Women Warriors who dwelled in the lands north of the Black Sea (Scythia) but even they don’t really coincide with the Amazons except for their wardrobe since thats how we know there’s a link between the Scythians and the Amazons, Amazons in Greek vases are depicted wearing the exact same attire up to the last detail as the attire the remains of women warriors who were excavated in the Eurasian Steppes were wearing and buried in. Thats proof that women warriors existed, but to prove the existence of an Amazon State The Scythians would’ve had to have been an all female society or at least a matriarchal one where men held less power than women and had no positions of authority, Scythian Tribes were usually lead by a man. Trousers were invented by Scythians btw

There was No Palestine at the time Jesus was supposed to have lived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Syria Palaestina (Koinē Greek: Συρία ἡ Παλαιστίνη, romanized: Syría hē Palaistínē [syˈri.a (h)e̝ pa.lɛsˈt̪i.ne̝]) was the renamed Roman province formerly known as Judaea, following the Roman suppression of the Bar Kokhba revolt, in what then became known as the Palestine region between the early 2nd and late 4th centuries AD.

The term Palestine first appeared in the 5th century BCE when the ancient Greek historian Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" between Phoenicia and Egypt in The Histories.

@@CameronReilly Whether Herodotus ever visited the country is a question debated by scholars. At that time Jews were trickling back from captivity in Babylon, others such as Samaritans were populous in the land having infiltrated during the absence of much of the Jewish population, The Plishtim or “Philistines” were a sea people from the Aegean, of Indo_European origin who around 1200 BC had occupied much of the southern coast of Canaan, at about the time the Hebrew tribes were growing and centuries of conflict ensued until King David finally penned up the Philistines in Gaza were they remained until around 622 BC when they were essentially wiped or deported by the Assyrians along with the 10 tribes of the Kingdom of Israel. Only little kingdom of Judah was left only to be defeated and deported by the Babylonians some 150 years later. So at the time of Horodotus the land was probably considered nearly abandoned. But then around 538 BC Cyrus king of Persia defeated the Babylonians and issued the decree to enable Jewish exiles to return to Judea. From Wikipedia “The first appearance of the term "Palestine" was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece when Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" between Phoenicia and Egypt in The Histories.[7] Herodotus was describing the coastal region, but is also considered to have applied the term to the inland region such as the Judean mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley.” Horodotus, a Greek, naturally was using the Greek name after the earlier Philistines who ruled the coast. But two centuries later when Alexander of Macedon conquered Persia he eventually came to Jerusalem and this is an account of what happened according to Josephus: “The only historical event connecting Alexander the Great with the Jews is his visit to Jerusalem, which is recorded by Josephus in a somewhat fantastic manner. According to "Ant." xi. 8, §§ 4-6, Alexander went to Jerusalem after having taken Gaza. Jaddua, the high priest, had a warning from God received in a dream, in which he saw himself vested in a purple robe, with his miter-that had the golden plate on which the name of God was engraved-on his head. Accordingly he went to meet Alexander at Sapha ("View" [of the Temple]). Followed by the priests, all clothed in fine linen, and by a multitude of citizens, Jaddua awaited the coming of the king. When Alexander saw the high priest, he reverenced God (Lev. R. xiii., end), and saluted Jaddua; while the Jews with one voice greeted Alexander. When Parmenio, the general, gave expression to the army's surprise at Alexander's extraordinary act-that one who ought to be adored by all as king should adore the high priest of the Jews-Alexander replied: "I did not adore him, but the God who hath honored him with this high-priesthood; for I saw this very person in a dream, in this very habit, when I was at Dios in Macedonia, who, when I was considering with myself how I might obtain dominion of Asia, exhorted me to make no delay, but boldly to pass over the sea, promising that he would conduct my army, and would give me the dominion over the Persians." Alexander then gave the high priest his right hand, and went into the Temple and "offered sacrifice to God according to the high priest's direction," treating the whole priesthood magnificently. " And then Alexander was shown the writings of Daniel in which he had prophesied that a Greek would eventually destroy the empire of the Persians, he assumed that he was the person intended and rejoiced. So regardless of what Herodotus called the country, later on Alexander heading a Greek army met with the Jewish head of the Temple in Jerusalem. And from then on Greeks and Romans called the country Judea until 135 AD when the Romans ,after three major Jewish revolts, changed the name of the country to Palestina again to permanently punish the Jews.

Everything can be 'Twisted' depending on your own particular biases! Posts on Wikipedia are not checked for accuracy. Before the State of Israel was formed in 1948 the term 'Palestinian referred to people living in the area, the majority of them were Jews.

@@jonnyrainbow1 Sigh, okay you made me pull out my own copy of Herodotus: Of the triremes the number proved to be one thousand two hundred and seven, and these were they who furnished them:--the Phenicians, together with the Syrians who dwell in Palestine furnished three hundred; and they were equipped thus, that is to say, they had about their heads leathern caps made very nearly in the Hellenic fashion, and they wore corslets of linen, and had shields without rims and javelins. These Phenicians dwelt in ancient time, as they themselves report, upon the Erythraian Sea, and thence they passed over and dwell in the country along the sea coast of Syria; and this part of Syria and all as far as Egypt is called Palestine. So, let's just agree that the country was called Palestine by Herodotus 500 years before Jesus. What the Romans called it during the time when Jesus was supposedly born is irrelevant. I don't know what 1948 has to do with it, but for the 1500 years before that time, there were almost no Jews living in the region. They started flooding back in, mostly illegally, in the early 20th century, until they finally took over the land violently after the British evacuated after WWII.

★Please stop killing animals. Stop cruelty to animals. Example: Cow, goat, camel, sheep, fish etc. All animals have sentient powers. They cry, feel pain, express their desire to be rescued and want to live with their family or independently. They want to live in this world. So? Why are we killing animals mercilessly? For a little food? Here is one thing to think about, we can eat vegetables, rice, corn, fruits etc as food. And it is scientifically proven that vegetarian diet is very good for health (compared to other types of diet). After becoming a vegetarian we can fully meet our daily food requirements. And we can become vegetarian only if we keep the food list properly. And if we stop killing animals, nature will open all good doors for our mind, brain, soul. Empathy will be created. Some common problems of the world like poverty, crime, torture will be solved easily. (Crime is because man is becoming heartless by killing living creatures). So please stop killing animals welfare will come and life will move forward with true bond. Stop killing animals and go vegan and save the earth.Stop killing animal will make good our this life and afterlife. kindly apply/promote this slogan for change our life for a Better movement. Animal Sacrifice: Animals Are Sentient Beings Just Like Us ★In recent years, the vegan movement has gained momentum worldwide, advocating for the ethical treatment of animals, environmental sustainability, and healthier living. One of the critical issues at the heart of this movement is the practice of animal sacrifice, which continues in various cultures and traditions. This article aims to shed light on why animal sacrifice must end and how recognizing animals as sentient beings aligns with our moral and ethical responsibilities. ★The Sentience of Animals Sentience refers to the capacity to feel, perceive, and experience subjectively. Scientific research has increasingly confirmed that animals are sentient beings, capable of experiencing pain, pleasure, fear, and joy. Mammals, birds, fish, and even some invertebrates demonstrate complex behaviors and emotions. Recognizing animal sentience is crucial in understanding why practices like animal sacrifice are morally indefensible. ★Ethical Implications The ethical argument against animal sacrifice is straightforward: if animals can suffer, then causing them harm for ritualistic purposes is unjustifiable. Philosophers and ethicists have long argued that unnecessary suffering is morally wrong, regardless of the species experiencing it. The principles of compassion and empathy should extend to all sentient beings, not just humans. ★Cultural and Religious Perspectives While animal sacrifice is rooted in various cultural and religious traditions, it is essential to acknowledge that many belief systems have evolved to embrace more humane practices. For instance, numerous Hindu and Buddhist communities have shifted towards offering symbolic substitutes like fruits and flowers. Religious reformers within these traditions advocate for compassion and non-violence, aligning with the broader vegan movement's goals. ★ Environmental and Health Considerations Beyond the ethical issues, animal sacrifice has significant environmental and health impacts. The livestock industry, which supplies animals for sacrifice, contributes to deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and water pollution. By reducing the demand for animal products, including those used in sacrifices, we can lessen our environmental footprint. Moreover, a vegan lifestyle is associated with numerous health benefits, such as lower risks of heart disease, obesity, and certain cancers. ★The Role of the Vegan Movement The vegan movement plays a pivotal role in raising awareness about animal sentience and promoting alternatives to animal sacrifice. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, vegans inspire others to consider the ethical implications of their choices. Petitions, protests, and social media campaigns are effective tools in mobilizing public support and pressuring policymakers to enact laws protecting animal rights. ★Conclusion Animal sacrifice is an outdated practice that fails to consider the sentience and suffering of animals. As our understanding of animal consciousness grows, so too should our moral obligations toward them. The vegan movement offers a compassionate and sustainable path forward, urging us to respect all sentient beings and end practices that cause unnecessary harm. By joining this movement and advocating for change, we can create a more just and humane world for animals and humans alike.

The egg hunt was also done by the Irishmen who lived on the remote Islands of Ireland back in the days. They would do exactly the same thing with ropes & assists/help from many other local men. They would collect eggs on cliffsides such as, guillemot, oyster catcher, puffin, seagull & razor-bill. This was their survival tactics, as these Islands was really harsh conditions to survive & so remote, so what could they do? They left with no real choices.

But did homo-sapiens survive? HEAR ME OUT, I know you're thinking "you're dumb, of course we did, we are here still" BUT Neanderthals lived for 400,000+ years in total. Homo Sapiens have only existed for 300,000 so YES, we outlived all the other species, BUT it could just be that our time hasn't come yet. We developed much more than any other species did, we gave up the nomad life and built societies, we invented things people only 100 years ago could barely imagine, let alone 100,000s, and got to a point where most of us barely have to try hard to survive compared to them, BUT that very thing, the extent of the things we have created, could be our very downfall.
