As a photographer, I think we have a moment where we consider ourselves really fortunate to be in the right place, at the right time. Seeing the bear cub and bald eagle chicks was a real magical moment.

Was thinking I'd never get to see any wildlife, but then.......wow, watch out for Tuesdays video.....can't say anymore :)

If you go on a little further to the village or town, you will find there is a train that takes you to the top. Much easier . LOL. Well done for going the difficult way.

Brilliant….. best way to spend a Saturday. I think the only time you really need to use 120 shoots per second is in the situation otherwise just video it. Brilliant time had, thanks for coming down 🔫 we had a great laugh as ever

Love the video. I'm lucky to live in the DPRNY and have about 7 or 8 red Kite's that fly over our village and regularly fight with the crows over the roadkill. Got our share of common buzzards as well. However, every time I see them I either don't have my camera with me or if I do by the time I get to try and grab shot they've buggered off somewhere else.

I want to share a story. When I was a kid growing up in the 1970s and 80s in London, just getting into birdwatching, I came across the Red Kite in my Collins Book of Birds of Europe. I *so much* wanted so much to see one. They looked just so beautiful with their forked tails. But my book also told me that there were only 35 breeding pairs in the entire country, all in Wales. I was so sad to read that. And I figured I'd never get to see one. I moved to Canada and basically forgot about them. Imagine my joy on a trip back to the UK in the 2000s when I saw - to my utter astonishment whilst travelling through the Chilterns on the A40 - loads of Red Kites! I could not believe my eyes! It brought tears to my eyes - a childhood dream realised. They are such a success story for conservation.

Brilliant series of videos. This edition was quite reflective I guess because it was towards the end of the trip. Dreading going myself - I dislike cold

This winters trip has really tested me physically and mentally, not sure if it was the cold or just Iceland in general, but what an amazing place
