I’ve been eagerly waiting to hear your progress with switching to Total, since your video post about two weeks ago. With the $15 promo set to expire soon (end of the month) do you recommend still joining Total Wireless? The fact that you say you’re “currently in the process of switching” after two weeks is a considerable red flag! Background we have two lines and we were on T-Mobile One plan for years. However, with T-Mobile new agenda, not honoring its price lock, and our local service we decided it was time to look elsewhere. That said, we took advantage of Visible's $15/mo deal and onboarding was quick and easy (about 30mins to be fully transferred/working). Overall happy on Visble, but the the deprioritize service is a worry. After joining, I seen your post stating Total Wireless $15/line/mo plan offered priority data. As this is one of my concerns with using Visible basic being near a large city I was thinking of trying to take this deal. Do you still recommend joining Total vs Visible ($15 plans) as the deadline to transfer with this deal is approaching quickly? I have worries about Totals process/security not being fully developed yet and lack of eSIM onboarding. If you do still recommend Total, could you also share what T-Mo plan you used temporarily to switch from Visible > T-Mo > Total to get the $15 promo? Thanks!

I heard you say this and wanted to double check. I just got boost and I am in Las Vegas so they have dish. As a customer I get unlimited data on their network and 30g when I roam on the others?

"We dont like mentioning that we own a brand because people think its expensive".. well that's because well Verizon (postpaid) is expensive.. until recently when they came out with more value plans but even then those plans have a lower priority. For me in MVNO service Im going to have to stick with Verizon because other carriers like Tmobile dont offer prioritized service. Well at least not for a cheap rate. T-Mobile has Google Fi which is on the upper end of pricing anc Dark star on USM is like a $15 upgrade for QCI 8 I have USM Warp and i love that its prioritized service for $25 a month.. yes I know it's not as prioritized as Visible+ but Visible + is $45 while this is $25. Plus I like to give a non MNO MNVO the business because we know without them MNOs would then raise their prices. I would also like to apologize to you Max, I discounted you as just some kid with a UA-cam Channel but you impressed me with your insightful questions and responses in this interview

Sorry for how long this is. The deal almost seems too good to be true. By the way, I haven't been to cell phone stores for a very long time and was glad to be free of upsells and dealing with simple MVNOs. However, moving over to TotalWireless from MintMobile for us was fraught with difficulty. We have used sites and lots of systems, so this is a matter of what is working and what is not. Many Web sites involve adding things to a cart and purchasing. Even if you do your taxes there is still a matter of gathering items and then paying for your cart. Here it seems they tried to help the user so much that it becomes extensively complicated to get the correct choices into the system so that the Web site will transfer numbers and activate the plan. Clicking on the button to transfer may leave you with 1 plan at the end, and that does not qualify you to even provide a promo code. If you are offered the $50 or $60 plans on the page, then you have gone away from the path that requires the $55 plan to be discounted to $15. Calling customer service left me with options to get the full cost plans. I asked about the $15 and it led to wait after wait until they figured out that I would have to buy multiple lines until $15 came across their screens. They did not know about the Web site nor its structure. This is a far cry from the simplicity and service of MintMobile, etc. Some things are nonrefundable too, so you need to do this early if you want to wait for the SIM cards to arrive by mail. This is one of the things that is required after we tried over and over to get through the Web site so we could get to the option of a promo code. For us, we had to add the nonrefundable $0.99 cent SIM card kit. You also cannot run to Target and buy the SIM card kit (not the TotalWireless refill cards) and use them. You have to wait for them to arrive while your current plan may have run out tomorrow. Yes, they offer an option for eSIM, but then the promo code and secondary line would not appear unless we jumped through the right hoops. Yes, customer service is lacking and I wanted to solve this for others. As you know, the plan for switching over requires 1 of three promo codes. Moving through the Web site from the promo code buttons is not even guaranteed to get you to the final promo code entry form. In essence, you have to have 1 $55 line added with a $0.99 SIM card kit, and also another $0.99 SIM card kit with a $55 line that turns into the second $15 discounted line. You also have to select autopay I think. Finally, if you go to the TotalWireless store first, you may be able to get the deal easilly and walk through the process. Now I haven't ever had to have anyone hand hold me through a cell phone deal otherwise, but there is your option 2. Also, when we tried to fix our purchase woes, they would have charged us for another whole account but the store worker helped us stop his own technical support from going through their activation process since the SIMs are locked to the account as a mailed offer. We could not activate at the store if we purchased online. I haven't had such a difficult process with any other carrier where we could take one of their SIMs and just activate it onto our account and payment, and no that doesn't allow us to steal anyone's number either because they are locked down.

I'm trying to make the switch but it is very painful. I'm not normally a phone switcher, but I am still resentful at T-MO breaking their promise and doing it more as a statement. HOWEVER, Total is making it very difficult. Bought the plan online at Total website even though I had ordered 2 sim kits online an agent suggested I just go to Target to buy so don't have to wait to activate. I had all the Activation info except the total pin which was the last question in the online activation form & appears nowhere on my printed order documents. I had my tmo account number and pin and everything else. More than a hour with a clueless agent who's database could not seemingly recognize either my order number or order ID (why two numbers for the same thing?). He has my email on something he had but jerked me around for about 90 minutes and was not able provide me a total pin to complete activation. Finally he said I would have to wait for the SIM cards that will be delivered to me, even though I was told by an earlier total agent to go buy them at target. I paid almost $5 + $2 for pin kits for UPS shipping but no joy yet since I don't have a tracking number. Frustrating. Should I just give up. Are they telling the truth. Why wasn't the critical pin number not included in the sign documents?

I love the new plans! 🫶🏻 I got my Motorola Edge 2024 from Metro for free when I switched! 💜 The new Metro Flex Plans are wonderful. I have Metro Flex Plus and the plan is great with great perks! 🫶🏻 I am a heavy data-user so this plan works for me and it's been wonderful. I love Metro! They have been wonderful for me.

I'm not the account holder but I do have the password to the account. My question is, if I did this off my phone which I'm not the account holder. How would I know what phone in switching too. The account holders phone or the one I'm using?
