It's really beautiful how it starts off with a lot of pops and skips, but slowly improves over time towards an almost crystal clear ending. Thank you for uploading this. It is a treasure.
Too Much Reverb, Chet😢
Reminds me of my Radio Shack TRS 80 days 128k of ram 6809 Motorola processor.
Muzak = easy listening station FM
18:41 Why does this sound like Green Hill zone but slow downed?

This New Edition isn't the same as the R&B group of the same name that got famous a few years later
I start my day with style & elegance. MUZAK opens my eyes to a new day. A joyful time awaits when i make my breakfast. It charges me up Like a Prince !!! Come into it, start today. ☀️🍀👑🍀☀️
What is the first song called
This is my favorite genre of music just so nice
Can you post a link to the part that you installed? I have no idea where to get one. I’d love to do this mod! Thank you so much!
ELEVATOR ROLEPLAY TIME (Reply if ya wanna join, and then continue from here) 👇 “Y’ALL, I HAVE TO PISS, THE ELEVATOR IS STUCK!!”

Volare at 8:57 is straight fire!
Nice layout and thank you for sharing.
Why do I have this compelling urge to go to the mall?
Did you rebuild the crystal yourself? If so, how? I have one I need to rebuild. Thank you.
No westtech services rebuilt it for me
Digger - Alan Parker
This channel was hard to find man but a comment of yours brought me here
Nothing will beat lady blue
The video was OK, the music was lovely.
Any idea what the wire with the curl on the end is for. It folds in and out on the side.
How to did you swap out the tape? I received a working unit as a gift and want to use maxell tape like you did
Manually threaded it by opening the cartridge splicing the tape to the spindle and rewinding the tape into the cartridge. Make sure the play side is facing out so match the side of the heads
Peter, this record brings a lot of enjoyment to me as well as my mother. The many less familiar songs are delightful. We don't mind the scratches. Many of my records have nicks, pops and scratches.
The first record player I had around 1971-1972. I was 5 years old.
That's alright, it adds more to the nostalgia. Thanx 😊
Wow. This is an incredible mix! I love the Record Player!! ❤❤❤

Cool. I got my first turntable around a year earlier. Probably around August of 2002? I remember it was a BSR turntable from Goodwill. I think my first couple of records were Christmas records? (I had no idea what I liked back then) I no longer have it because my mom broke it because she was mad at me about something. (Probably rightfully so because I acted like a brat back then) Fun times!
It's like a Kubrick movie, sort of psychedelic and totally lame at once. Interesting time capsule I suppose.
I used to have my teeth drilled to this kind of music when I was a kid.
Love the horns🥰
This is actually really good. I could almost taste the Avocado Green decor and wide ties.

“Easy listening” 🔈 👂 🛏 😴
I just received one of these as a gift and so was curious about using different tape in one of the cartridges. Cheers!
Imagine music like this, distorted by the heavy echo of the cavernous interior of a mall. This was the soundtrack of my childhood. There is nothing else quite like it.
I remember hearing music like this in stores and restaurants in the 1970s and 1980s. Back then, it was part of the background, and nobody thought much of it. Now that it isn't in these places any longer, I miss it, and I have started to seek it out. This evening, I'm sitting here doing nothing, drinking a small glass of rye whiskey, and listening to Muzak. When I was young, I would have thought that someone who would do this was nuts. Now, I find that this is one of the simple pleasures in life. I'll probably sleep well tonight.
Hey that's a good idea - muzak and booze :)
couldn't agree more! Now and then I'll play my original vinyl of this great release, mainly when I have company, and younger friends are blown away! Nothing like a cocktail and some muzak to chill out!!!
Well said, and can relate!
This is THE PERFECT cozy home vibes background playlist
It really is. So nice while reading too
Indeed, many of "the wrecking crew" played on these recordings. The Wrecking Crew was a group of top session musicians that reigned in music studios in the early 60's and through the mid 70's. There is a documentary film "The Wrecking Crew" created by one of the guitarist's son. They played on "all" the pop group's recording sessions in the 60's (Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, The Monkeys, Glen Campbell - who was actually one of the guitarists in The Wrecking Crew - etc, etc, etc.). They also played on countless movie soundtracks. According to the bassist, they were making well over $100,000 a year during the 8 or 9 years that they were very active in the 60's. All for doing something they loved to do - playing music. It's not like that these days with computers and more technical advanced equipment, but the new music (in general) sucks in my opinion! A very good film.
Best Volare…Ever!
Lady Blue is so good, much more than elevator music
first tune Sounds like Kiss Me In the Rain...
It’s Kiss Me In The Rain, by Dick Hyman
Thanks for sharing a technology I was unaware of.
Oh Peter what a treasure! Thank you for sharing this one with us!
First track is definitely by the "Golden Dream" Orchestra.
At 78 RPM I would imagine that sounds better than it would if it was a 45 RPM record
