A few things really, the previous owner was running a really lean pilot jet and a really rich main, that and some new reeds, the difference now is like night and day. Do you have a similar problem?

Enduro Janner , hi man, yes i have an 05 ec250. And it is not accelerating so sweetly. So im on the hunt to get it to go better

I have the same problems too rich,on the needle and too rich on the main. But it still hasn't fixed it yet.

I used this to dial in my settings, may be of use to you. www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3800 I know it sounds patronizing but it has to be spark, air, or fuel. Troubleshooting is a bitch, write it all down and change one thing at a time.

Yea, i did. I repacked the exhaust lowered the needle 1 clip, and bazinga. Sideways and front wheel lifting under hard throttle

To try and keep the revs up, it wouldn't fire at all unless there was a bit of choke and throttle. We initially thought the plug was fouled but a fresh one didn't sort it, then we were debating whether to give the Carb a look over on the trails. In the end we don't really know for sure, there was a bit of crud in the float bowl, We're fairly new to 2 strokes so maybe we overlooked something but she runs fine now! Thanks for watching.

And thanks for getting back. If you can get an engine to start as it did its best to gently hold it opened slightly and steadily just above where tick over. By winding it open like this you are drawing masses amount of air in and as I said distinguishes the spark and it will cut flooding the engine. Its not only on 2 strokes this happens but 4 strokes also especially if they have been sitting for a while. Many times if you start a big 4 it will start and sit on tick over with choke but if you turn the throttle it cuts. Just something to think about. Enjoy your riding guys

Ahh! you know I've always wondered why 4 strokes do this after being sat. Cheers for the advice man, Always learning.

It could also have been fuel starvation but I wouldn't reckon from the carb more from a fuel filter.
