Whatever happened to this camera? Will they bring it back into the market or at least making a better one or is the idea of the project totally discontinued?

People seem to rave about this doorbell, why I don't know. If you have other Reolink cameras (as I do) it is completely useless as the notification is the same as every other Reolink camera you have and just bundled together. You are not able to distinguish the doorbell seperately. Its all or nothing. You do not get a live instant view notification like other doorbell cams. You have to open the Reolink app and then locate the doorbell cam (bad if you have multiple cameras on your system) . Really, all you have here is an additional camera on you Reolink system with a bell added. By the time you faff around with the app the caller has long gone. People have complained about this major drawback ever since it was introduced by Reolink (who clearly didn't do their full homework) and still nothing seems to have been done to individualise this camera. Even with the large discount for this on the Reolink website at the moment I'm still not templed so will probably go elswhere for a decent video doorbell cam and just keep it entirely seperate from my Reolink system. Just one last thing on this video. The very short ethernet cable you say is useless and not long enough. This cable is provided purely for setup purposes, that is really pretty obvious.

So 45ft (13m) to capture a car license plate, what about longer distances like 50m? And is C8PF (the dual lens cam with 8x zoom) capture longer distances than this H8 Pro?

I would give my poe doorbell a 2 out of 5.I don't know why it would be so hard to engineer a poe doorbell that you can use existing chimes and also have a doorbell notification with a live feed on my phone when the doorbell is pressed(similar to receiving a phone call where i have the option to accept or decline).I also like your idea of a package view camera.

What if my app doesn't include the SoloCam S340? It only has the SoloCam S330. What do i do then?

If the camera is on right height what is the distance the sensor can detect a person in meters?

The camera should never be placed where a person can grab it anyway honestly. Also, when they do grab it there NOW on camera lol also once the device is registered the other ppl cannot use it.

Hi, I’m experiencing no notifications when the human detection is detected, don’t know why. Notifications are turned on in the ezviz app settings. Camera is connected over wifi. Does anyone is experiencing the same?

The L bracket is upside down. If you try it the other way you will get a way better seal around the connector.

How do I take out the battery to charge it?

I have a C9C camera the camera lacks true security features. The first being a 60 second event recording limit even with a 128GB memory card installed and setup to only record locally(not that local or cloud recording should be a factor in limiting the camera to 60 seconds max) imagine it picks up someone hopping your back fence and walking towards your home slowly. He walks around your car oops 60 seconds is up...but most recordings are in the 9 sec to 20 sec range - wish I could return it. I live on a cul-de-sac. The camera picks up motion heading in but no motion heading out. (did someone hit my car and speed off - don't know) what worries me are the motion events not recorded. Also consider where this will be mounted. The distance you go up should be subtracted from motion sensing range. Another feature missing is pre-record and post-record a triggered event and forget about continuous recording. What this does is capture a couple of seconds before the event occurs. A security camera would do this by buffering a few second Their tech support was very frustrating to work with. They don't answer questions completely or at all I have several examples of this . I even sent screenshots with my questions and they just have not answered them. All in the solar panel is great no wires The night vision is very good The lights that can turn on are bright it's got very good battery life however the key security features are missing I can't state how important it is to be able to increase or record an event in its entirety this will leave you very frustrated about getting what happened after that person walked into the motion sensing zone or where did they go they should also have a little bit more information about some of the screens that they have especially the split screen where you have the camera image up top and then another image below it I still have no idea what that is. I had pre-record and was able to set recording length and or post record time in a $29 camera I bought in 2018. It makes a great peephole camera but again you can't depend on it to get the entire event as it unfolds. Missed my return window - which was shorter than other items I have purchased.

have you try another brand of label? does it work? is that any protection for third part label? Currently i have niimbot, it checks label roll if it is original everything is fine but if it is not orginal, it reduces the printing head's power and printer not useful anymore.

Just bought this ring battery doorbell and I am having issues with the motion and person notifications. I am not receiving any when a motion is triggered. It recorded the motion or person but i dont get any notifications. Also, it keeps disconnecting from the wifi. Any tips?

My issue is it’s not capturing anything , this product is a piece of $hit ..
