I’m not sure exactly what community you are from in Appalachia, Kentucky, but child abuse in Appalachian, Kentucky is talked about and interceded upon by teachers, doctors and the community at large just as it is in bigger cities. I’m not saying that there isn’t abuse that is not reported or discovered, but to simply act as though these are backwoods people that have never had any kind of avenue to speak out about their abuse is ridiculous. Incorporating into it church is disturbing. Whether or not people go to church or not does not ever affect the fact that kids are abused in all social statuses cities, and ways of lives unfortunately. I hope that you help anyone that you come in contact with that’s been abused, protect our children at all costs. However quit acting as though there’s no educated, caring people in rural Kentucky Appalachia especially churchgoers.
