I try to keep it above freezing. On super cold nights, I just bring the pineapples inside the house.

There's a vitamin for banana trees when applied the tree will produce bananas: po-ten or po-ten-tate, some thing like that.

I get these around my house all the time, they're hummingbird moths. They float around in any direction just like a hummingbird does, and they're one of the few diurnal moths.
