Is the rail a tight fit after filing and fitting?

since you mounted a side rail, i would consider a stock recoil pad, it just slides on and makes the stock much more comfortable + adds a bit more distance from face to the optic which is lovely for taller guys. love the video!

I was also planning to modernize my 74m but after handling it, I quite like the stock handguards. I did put on a repro tws dog leg rail which was a perfect fit. Just need an extra part from the same manufacturer to affix the hinge. Can't quite put why I like it almost as is. Not even the stock TM AKM's handguards could stop me from putting a dong on it. I'm waiting on some paints to plumify the 74m furniture and to fakelite the mag.

Hey Chay, how big is the difference in ball accuracy and range compared to the VFC HK416? Is there an overhop problem when using heavier BBs (0.4g+)? Can APFG perform 2-2.2 jouels at room temperature on powerful gas (Guarder Power Gas, for example). I have a choice between the VFC HK416 CAG and the APFG MCX for my first GBB (not counting pistols and KSC MP9) for playing airsoft. I am a big fan of SIG, but in my country it is not so easy to buy and no one has experience using it. I'm just afraid to spend a lot of time and effort and end up with something that's not what I expect. I don’t care about the recoil difference, but I want to get a functional rifle that will give me a lot of positive(!) emotions and cool photos on Instagram
