Anti-Cheat Software | From Origins to AI-Driven Security in Gaming
Online gaming has existed for decades, dating back to the 1970s. After a while, anti-cheat systems came to life with a clear goal: to put an end to cheating in online games. Whether it is Counter-Strike, Valorant, Team Fortress 2, Fortnite or Genshin Impact, the mission of anti-cheat software is the same.
In this video, I explore the origins of anti-cheat software and its functionalities. I also discuss how anti-cheat software was in its earlier days and how it evolved in recent years. Lastly, I talk about the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the anti-cheat space.
Feel free to share your thoughts about anti-cheat software in the comments section!

Spoiler mihoyo said that then they changed anti-cheat to HoyoProtect and i still runs even after you close the game and you have to restart your pc to get rid of it its in Genshin and Honkai Star Rail and i dont think its in Honkai Impact but i didnt check so it might be there also maybe talk about vanguard which is step to far
Potential implementation of Vanguard seems interesting, especially considering MiHoYo's apparent pattern that favours doing things in-house.😀
The pro max models are the best apple can offer. Yes the price is towering but if you can buy a new pro max one with enough storage you can keep this phone for like 6 years without any problem.im gonna buy the 16 pro max and I'm gonna keep it for many years
A valid observation indeed! Enjoy your iPhone 16 Pro Max! 😀
Even in 16 same problem, it’s a software bug
That’s very interesting! Did you update to iOS 18.2.1? If so, was there any improvement? 😀
@ yup i updated it. The lag reduced, it’s still not that smooth like how it was before.
Update: Apple just released iOS 18.2.1, which according to them "provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users." Due to the lack of details about this update from Apple, it is unclear whether the bug fixes include the one in this video. On my end though, the update seems to have addressed the bug. Let me know if iOS 18.2.1 makes any difference for you in the comments! 😀
Mine worked for a day after the update…now I still have the delay. Every time I restart my Iphone the delay is gone for a few hours then it comes back again.
@@ruan._.badenhorst What I experienced following the update (a while after my comment) is very similar to what you're describing. Very interesting indeed, let's hope Apple releases a definitive fix for all affected devices! 🤔
I disagree Thread ripper is supposed to be used for Workstations like CAD, CGI-l Video Generation, Video and Photo Editing, Music Creation, Video Encoding and Decoding etc
Same problem iPhone 13 Pro
How intriguing! 🤔
@ update ios to 18.2.1 it will fix 🫂
I have the same problem and I’m using the Iphone 15 Pro…
I thinks it’s because of your phone because for me it’s fine
Good to know yours is fine! Yes, it seems like not everyone is affected by this. I have spoken to people and it's been a bit of a mix, with some experiencing it and others not. 😀
I don’t think that’s a bug, mine works fine. I think I would just recommend restarting your phone.
Good to hear you’re not experiencing it! It certainly seems like it’s not affecting everyone, having spoken to people who have experienced it, and others who haven’t. I did actually attempt fixes before uploading this, including restarting my device but sadly none of them worked. Interestingly, it’s even more noticeable on a lower battery percentage and/or with lower power mode turned on. Of course, I didn’t upload this to complain. I’m not even bothered by this. I simply find bugs like these fascinating and I like to document them! 😀

Which will be the last iOS update for the iPhone 11?
The iPhone 11 currently supports the latest version of iOS, which is 18.2 (same as the iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max). There is a chance that Apple may provide support for iOS 19, although this is not confirmed. Either iOS 18 or iOS 19 will be the last major iOS update for the iPhone 11 lineup. 😀
This phone is gonna get at least IOS 20. Maybe even more. Look at the iPhone Xs it's still support, and it's no wear near as powerful as the a13
I think that Netflix needs to invest more into the way that the livestreams are transmitted. Also they need to get rid of unnecessary things to optimise their networks.
Here's hoping they improve! 😀

Great video, what's your opinion in this current times. Should one future proof or buy entry level technology more frequently
Thanks for your comment! I think budget plays an important role in deciding whether to go for high end options or to opt for lower end options more frequently. When it comes to computers, I’ve always used lower end ones and I’ve had to accept the fact that I’d have to play modern games at lower settings and render videos in lower resolutions/refresh rates. It wasn’t until recently that I bought a high end system, and let me tell you it has made a huge difference for me. If budget permits, I would recommend you go for high end options. 😀
AMD Strix APU(s) are interesting to watch evolve since they are in the same power envelope to that of Apple silicon. Nonetheless, we consumers are blessed in a way to have so much compute available (at a price) to us.
We are indeed! Thanks for your comment! 😀
bro y u making the same video whch 100s have made give us some new info nothing u said is new like this u will never grow or ur channel will never grow ur making a vidoe with information already available on youtube made by 1000s of people
No worries mate! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😀 Essentially, I make videos about topics that I personally find interesting. Usually when you make a video about a particular topic, chances are someone else also did. Regardless of whether a topic has already had videos discussing it, my videos give me a platform to share my own thoughts about a topic. With that being said, I’m more than happy to take video suggestions and I always encourage my audience to share ideas. If there is anything tech you’d like me to cover, feel free to put your ideas forward!
@TheWizardofTech1 go in detail which might be available on the internet but youtubers are not covering it like why apple has higher ipc over x 86 that might be more insightful
I don't think arm was the reason for power efficiency. I think they intentionally architect it that way and adopted smaller nodes, because their chips are CISC (complex instruction set computer) rather to RISC (Reduced instruction set computer which the arm 32 bit variant was based off). Great video nonetheless!
A valid observation indeed! Thanks for your comment! 😀
Dude, did you just compare one CPU for only one OS on a single hardware setup to a CPU`s for any OS and countless hardware variations, and those M chips still can't beat those beasts from Intel and AMD!
Lol
apple sillicon runs more optimized on mac so its better
@goranov85 Thanks for your comment! 😀 Granted, Apple's M chips are only used by Mac devices, but the focus here is on CPU performance specifically. This is in an attempt to determine how much progress Apple is making in this space relative to the two main players and so this warrants such a comparison.
“Dude” are you comparing a 40W (max) M4 Max to Intel and AMD CPUs that run at 125W-250W…and barely win? The M4 Ultra will be faster Intel and AMD’s fastest “desktop” CPUs , while using 60W-80W (not counting GPU). And Apple’s GPUs are killing Intel, AMD, and Nvidia on performance per watt. They’re flat out beating every Intel/AMD integrated GPU, and the M4 Max integrated GPU is competitive with the Nvidia RTX 4070/4080 Mobile, depending on task. The M4 Ultra GPU will rival the RTX 4090 Mobile…all while using a fraction of the power. Save your fanboy BS for your fanboy sites.
The flaw in this video is that Apple doesn't produce a single CPU. It produces a fully integrated SOC (System on a Chip) solution. So you can't even compare CPU performance as Apple hasn't got one to compare against. Apple is producing products with low wattage power draw, which perform as well in the eyes of the human beings who use them as the most powerful PCs. Apples are consumer and creative products. I don't care if a PC machine where each individual component costs hundreds if not thousands of $€£ can display a game at several hundred or even several thousand frames per second when my human eyes and brain can neither see or process that. This means throwing money after such performance from a single component is basically wasted by the consumer. As such, synthetic benchmarks have been totally pointless for decades and fall under the same category as the earlier megahertz race where CPUS got really toasty. Give me a machine that's quiet (silent even) that performs the tasks I want it to, in a reasonable time at a reasonable cost everytime. I have a quiet PC (self built) and a silent Mac mini M4 base model. The Mac mini M4 cost less than a good CPU with AI support. It cost less than a good GPU with AI support. A good motherboard might have a similar cost to a Mac mini M4. Upgrading my PC costs per year, are more than the cost of a new Mac mini M4 per year. Buying a new Mac mini when they launch reduces the upgrade costs to less than a third.
neat video, but imo should have also mentioned the single core speeds!
Thanks for your comment and for the feedback! 😀

i can't take seriously the opinion of someone who think 1200p and 1080p are indistinguishable and should therefore be given the same grade. ludicrous. 16:10 aspect ratio displays are more comfortable for vertical scrolling and give an additional bit of screen real estate for multitasking.
No worries mate! Thanks for sharing! 😀 I personally never really saw a difference that significant between 1080p and 1200p from a quality and multitasking/screen real estate perspective, especially one that would warrant a higher grade in favour of 1200p. For me, the difference has definitely been greater when I got to 1440p and 1600p territory, but more recently 4K.
😍😍😍
I think the price range considering the specs works well for a lot of people.
What about the one you have!
@@feyrouzabdalla6840 My main PC is a high-end one and falls well outside this category, but I did purchase a Dell Inspiron laptop last year within this budget that I used for my studies. Thanks for your comment! 😀
