87 HULK
Приєднався 21 бер 2012
I purchased an '87 Jeep Wrangler in the spring of 2020 when COVID hit. I had a lot of down time at home so this was going to be my project. This channel was created as my video diary so I can keep track of the work I've done on the Jeep as well as share my experiences with others that may be interested. I will be adding videos here and there of other projects I may be tackling on my other vehicles among other interests I have as the years pass.
As previously mentioned, my Jeep is an '87 and green so I decided to name it 87 HULK. It has a 4.2 L I6 258 in it and is carbureted. There are many videos uploaded on UA-cam with YJ's but most either have the 4.0 L I6 or 2.5 L I4 which are both fuel injected.
I have never worked on trucks/cars so this is all new to me. Hopefully I am able to learn along the way and share my experiences to others that may be having the same type of troubles and help them out along the way.
Subscribe to the channel and enjoy the journey with me.

2007-2010 Mazda CX-7 Cabin Air Filter Change
Переглядів 2424 роки тому
This is my first video for my channel so I'm in the learning process. If you have a 2007-2010 Mazda CX-7, this video will walk you through the process of changing the cabin air filter. It is an easy process and is recommended to do every 2 years. We bought our Mazda brand new in 2006 and have never changed the filter, sooooo, the filter was very dirty, as you will see.
This is going to be extremely helpful. I’ll try this next weekend. Mine is not working at all. I also have a twin, but white. 87 4.2, with a Holley sniper EFI instead of the carburetor.
Thanks for the video it was great. . We got the twin down here. In bogota colombia. But red ! Congratulations and enjoy
Hey what about the steering alignment after you put everything thing back
Hello just wanted to give ya shout and say I know how you feel about jeep yj being different than later models. Mine is a 88 yj 4.2six . I swapped in a later ax 15 transmission and transfer case. I also removed a bunch of wiring and computer and went with new hei ignition and Weber carb. Much much better. My blower isn't working so on to that now .

Been awhile since you’ve posted man. Anything new for the YJ? I think you should do a HULK Wrap on the YJ instead of the paint scheme… it’s not as expensive as you think. My wife just had her JL hood and grill wrapped tie dye and it only costed her $300 bucks. I think it would look sick! Anyway hope alls good 👍
Thank you.
Hi, this maybe an easier solution in the future if needed. As TJ steering gearbox same as YJ. ua-cam.com/video/6mTPAYi-Lsg/v-deo.html
Hell yeah. Im diving into this tomorrow. This video really helped
Pipe on the end of the ratchet.
Sounds like a good way to ruin the pawl mechanism in the ratchet, breaker bar better safe than sorry
So how ya liking it six months later? I've owned my YJ for 18 yrs now. I also have the 4.2L , I tore the whole Jeep down 2 yrs ago for a frame off resto-mod... unfortunately some health issues have kept me from finishing it. My garage looks like a Quadratec warehouse 😅. I hope to get back to it once I'm fixed up. I wanted to UA-cam the build, maybe I'll do that if I get the chance. Good luck with it and above all else, respect it, these Jeeps aren't meant for going fast.
Love the YJ. So many things I have lined up. Just have to save some $$$ and do a few things at a time. Thanks for checking out the video. I haven't been on UA-cam in a while but finally got another video up today.
@@87hulk52 I'll check in and watch it later 🤙
Imagine not commenting while in class
right!!!!
hi siemiller
Looks good for being that old
Thanks. That's why I pulled the trigger on it. There is some upgrades I'm doing, but overall it's nice. Frame has no rust and the guy that had it before me really took care of it.
I’m hulks daughter. Nice job father😂
