    Let's make a Pizza for breakfast... Do you think it's a good idea? Ingredients ________ Rice paper ( maybe a roti also can work as a base) Eggs 3 Vegetables of your choice - prefer mushrooms , carrots, cabbage , broccoli etc green peas Dry chilli flakes Butter/ghee Cheese (any type) Beat eggs and add some cream and salt. Now heat a pan and add butter. Sautee the vegetable with some dry chilli flakes and salt. That's all you need for seasoning. Now keep it aside. In the same pan heat butter and add the rice paper. On top of the rice paper pour the egg mixture. Then top it with vegetables and cheese. Cover and cook for sometime. Once the cheese is melted , cut it into pieces and enjoy!!!

    Onam Ila Ada 🥰🏵️( ഇല അട) This is a kerala delicacy, which is made with rice flour, jaggery , cardomom, coconut and some തുമ്പപ്പൂ (thumba flower). In kerala to welcome our beloved king Mahabali, people create Ilayada, a miniature figurine of King Mahabali, using clay, paper, or other materials. They decorate it with flowers, clothes, and ornaments, symbolizing the king's return to his kingdom. By making Ilayada, people are essentially recreating the legend of King Mahabali's birth and welcoming him back into their lives. As a malayali onam is part of the best memories of my life. The Ilayada is usually placed in the center of the pookalam (flower carpet) or in a prominent position in the home, serving as a reminder of the king's presence during the Onam celebrations.

    Kerala Sadhya Pachadi with Apple -------------------------------------------- Apple 1 Salt to taste Jaggery a small piece to add sweetness Curd 1/2 cup For paste ------------ Coconut grated 1 cup Cumin 1/2 tsp Mustard 1/4 tsp Green chilli 1 For tadka ------;---- Coconut oil 2 tbsp Mustard 1/2 tsp Curry leaves Dry chilli 1 grapes(or dry grapes) Peel and cut apple to square pieces. In a pan pour 1 cup water and cook apple with salt turmeric powder, chilli powder. Add jaggery when start to boil. In a blender jar grind all ingredients for the coconut paste. Once apple pieces are cooked well add this paste and let it boil. Make the flame to simmer and add curd and continuously whisk so as not to get curdled. Once it starts to make get bubbles turn off the heat. Heat coconut oil in a tadka pan and add all tadka ingredients. Then add it to Pachadi. Also fry some dry grapes and add to Pachadi( you can also add raw grapes, no need to fry this)

    Make Energy bars at home Nuts of your choice - Each half cups ( dry roast them for easy grinding) I used sunflower seeds, cashews and peanuts. Flax seeds 1/2 cup Chia seeds 1/4 cup Dates 12 Salt Butter 1 tsp Barley flour 1/2 cup( you can use any millet flour ) Grind everything together except butter. After powdering everything, add butter and then make a dough. Now roll th to balls or into any shapes like flat cookies or bars. Now bake for 10 min at 180°c . This will make it lasts for more days. Do you grab energy bars on your hectic days?

    Chocolate cake in a steamer Cocoa powder (dutch processed) 2 tbsp Hot Water 2 tbsp Egg 1 Wheat flour 1 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Oil 1/2 cup Baking soda 1/4 tsp Vanila Essence 1 tsp Butter cream : butter 10g, powdered sugar 1 tbsp, cocoa powder 1 tsp Mix cocoa powder and water together and mix well. Then beat an egg, sugar, oil, vanila and beat until mixed together. Now add the flour , baking powder and fold until just combined. Move into a baking tray which is lined with parchment paper. Now steam it for 20 min, don't forget to cover the top to avoid condensed water falling into the cake . Once cool down decorate with butter cream.

    It's Plum season and let's make Plum Jam !! Mildly sweet and tangy Jam , with flavors of clove that you can make in just 15 min. Plums -6-7 medium size Sugar 3 tbsp Salt a pinch Dates 4 Ginger a very small size, just for the taste Cloves 1( big) or 2 (only if it's small.) Cook plums that cut into cubes until it turns mushy. It takes only 2 minutes. Then add dates, grated ginger, sugar , salt and cloves(powder). Cover and cook until it is really mushy and water is evalurated completely. Once cooled down move it to an air tight container and keep refrigerated. Enjoy with bread , Roti or Chapati. TIP: If you add a 1/2 tsp of chilli powder to it and cook, then you can use it as a chutney for Biriyani , because it will taste almost similar to Dates Pickle then.

Then add bananas,Remember to choose ripe bananas. 3. In a saucepan boil some water. Mix 2 tbsp of ragi flour with some water and add it to the boiling water. Whisk until well combined and cooked. 4. Add this ragi malt to the blender once its cooled down. 5. Blend until well combined and enjoy with your favourite fruits and chia seeds

    One pot Fish rice /pulav Recipe ----- Ingredients for fish -------------------- Fish 1/4 kg (I used seabass , any cut pice fish will do) Turmeric 1 tsp Chilli powder 2 tsp Salt Curry paste 1 tbsp ( Grind fennel seeds , cumin seeds, pepper, dry chilli, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, garlic and ginger) Marinate fish with all the ingredients and shallow fry in 2 tbsp oil. Fry it for 5 min both sides until it turns crispy. Ingredients for rice --------------------- Onion 1 Green chilli 2 Tomatoes 1 Turmeric 1 tsp Chilli powder 1 tbsp Curry paste 1 tbsp Cinnamon stick 1 inch Cloves 2 Basmati rice 2 cups Water 4 cups Salt In the same oil where fish fried add chopped onion and green chilli. Once sauteed add tomato. Add all masalas and curry paste. Once sauteed add soaked rice. Mix well and add water. Boil until the rice cooked 95% and water is almost reduced well. Then place the fried fish on top of the rice and gently mix with the rice. Now let it cook for 5 min , then turn off the stove. Let it sit and rest for some time, by this time the flavor of fish will mix with the rice. Serve with cucumber raita and pappad.

    Basque Burnt cheesecake from scratch 😀😀 Do you think it's difficult to make a cheese cake at home? Here we make cream cheese and then using that we make a Basque Burnt cheesecake. Ingredients- ---------------- To make homemade Paneer >> boil Milk( 1/2 ltr) and once boiled add Vinegar (2 tbsp). If you use readymade Paneer take 50g Cream 1/4 cup Curd 2 tbsp Sugar 5 tbsp Maida 1.5 tbsp Egg 1 Vanila 1/2 TSP Salt a pinch To make cream cheese, blend paneer with some cream in a blender. In goes all other ingredients to the blender and blend it for 10-15 sec. Pour into a bowl coated with parchment paper . Bake at 220°c for 20-25 min , keep a little more until the top is burnt properly. Let it Cool down then refrigerate for 2 hrs before you cut it.

    Ragi Unda ( Goli) Upma --- cute and healthy one!! Ragi flour 1 cup Water 1 cup Salt Sugar 1/2 tsp. Coconut grated 2 handful Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp Cumin 1/4 tsp Urud dal 1/4 tsp Dry chilli 1 Cashews Curry leaves Boil water add salt and ghee to it . Then add ragi flour. Mix well and turn of heat and let it sit for sometime. Once heat reduced, kneed this well and make balls of it. In a kadai heat oil and splutter mustard, cumin, urud dal and other tadka ingredients. Add the ragi balls. Then add Coconut, salt and sugar. Cover and let it cook for 1 min. Serve hot With or without chutney .

    Crispy Medu Vada (Uzhunn Vada) from scratch for this Monsoon season. It's a very easy and comparitevely healthy snack( except deep frying)as it's need only few ingredients and contains protein rich urud dal for its making. Are you team Medu Vada (Uzhunn Vada) or Team Paripadi Vada( dal Vada)?

    10min homemade Granola on the stove top!! Ingredients ------_--------- Oats (quick or rolled oats) 1 cup Nuts and seeds , raisins etc of your choice ( I have added pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, raisins, cashews dates and almonds) Cinnamon powder for flavor ( you can replace it with vanilla if you don't like cinnamon) Ghee 1tsp Salt Honey 1 tsp Are you a traditional breakfast person or quick recipe person?

    Let's make Japanese Katsu Curry (Kare Katsu) from scratch using an egg plant (aubergine 🍆) . Katsu means cutlet in Japanese . SonKatsu curry means , cutlet in curry. !! Usually we make Curry using curry cubes available in the market. But here I am showing how to make it at home using the very easy way but with a guaranteed taste. For Katsu- I am making Egg plant katsu.. you can make it with chicken, pork etc.. Egg plant 1 All purpose flour 4 tbsp Egg 1 Bread crumbs 1 cups Salt Pepper Mix all purpose flour with salt and pepper. Then mix with 1 egg and add water to make a thick batter. Now dip the cut egg plant pieces into this and then dip in bread crumbs. Repeat all the pieces like this . Bake it at 200°c for 20 min or until crispy or Deep fry it in oil. For curry - Cut onions, potato, and carrot into cubes. Garlic 4 Ginger half a thumb size Soy sauce 2 tsp All purpose flour 2 tsp Chilli powder 1tsp Salt Garam masala - make masala by grinding cumin(1 tsp) coriander (1tsp), cloves (4) cinnamon (1 inch ) cardomom (2) pepper (1tsp) bay leaves (1) turmeric powder (1 tsp) dry chilli (2) Sautee all vegetables with garlic and ginger in oil. Once sauteed add chilli powder, salt and garam masala. Then add soy sauce. Mix well. Add all purpose flour directly or by mixing in water as I showed. Once thicken grind half of this mixture in a blender and add it back to the pan. Boil it along with the half sauteed vegetables . Once boiled turn off the heat.
