For finding drone rules, I don't have better suggestion other than google. However if you cannot find Iceland specific rules, you may find EU drone regulations, it should be similar. General rules like at least 5km from airports, avoid flying above crowd and prohibited in national parks will always apply. So for example, the whole Reykjavik city should be under no fly zone as there is an airport just downtown. My video were filmed back in 2016, so at that time I did not enter any zone that requires advance clearance. I'm sorry that I am not sure about the latest rule for now. Besides rules, keep in mind that drones also produce noise. So I would recommend fly early in the morning or late night to minimize noise impact to other tourists. The sun light time is very long during Summer. Hope these helps!

Thank you my friend. I did not had any issue but please notice this video was filmed back in June 2016. At that time, besides airport and national parks, most spots does not have any restrictions. However according to my other friends visited Iceland this year, they said there are "No drones" sign everywhere... Please check for latest drone laws if you plan to fly there and try to avoid crowd for safety reason and also the noise from drone will be disturbing.

There are "No Drones" signs around. They're not everywhere, but mostly at some of the more touristy attractions. I went end of Oct. 2017. I had my Mavic Pro and obeyed the laws where it was restricted. Good luck.
