The Ouigo is a French TGV (Train a Grande Vitesse) and goes from Paris the Barcelona. The Talgo is the Spanish train.

This is a Renfe ALVIA class 121 build by CAF. It´s used for for medium-distance high-speed service and is able to be used on international gauge and iberian gauge. The bogies are CAF's BRAVA (Bogie de Rodadura de Ancho Variable Autopropulsado) system which allows gauge-changing without stopping and in less than 1 minute. This train can travel up to 250 km/h (155 mph) on international gauge and 220 km/h (136 mph) on iberan gauge.

This time is a compilation of the AVE S103 Siemens Velaro E passing at 300 km/h (186 mph) catched at Calatayud station near to Zaragoza. Not all trains stop at this station so it is possible to see direct trains between Madrid and Barcelona passing at high speed. You can see several S103 in single and double configuration. Unfortunately it is not possible to get closer as the platforms in between are closed when there are no stops. But in any case you can make yourself still an idea how fast the train is passing through the station. Enjoy and don´t forget to suscribe.

Here is a new compilation. This is the Renfe AVE S103 (Siemens Velaro E) at 300 km/h (186 mph) running between Madrid and Barcelona. This train entered commercial service in 2007 and was (and is) Renfe´s flagship on the line between Madrid and Barcelona. This was very important for Renfe because the line Madrid-Barcelona is the direct competition to the air shuttle between both cities. In fact, since 1927 (first air shuttle operated by Iberia) the fastest way to travel between Madrid and Barcelona was the plane. So this was an important gamechanger. With the AVE you are now able to travel from Madrid to Barcelona in only 2:30 h (from the center of the city to the other center of the city without the need to get to any airport on the outskirts). The S103 is certified to run at 350 km/h (217 mph) and is quite able to do more. In fact, the 16th of July 2006 an S103 reached between Madrid and Zaragoza 403.7 km/h (250.8 mph). But normal cruising speed is 300 km/h (186 mph). You can see normal and double train sets. Enjoy and suscribe!

This Renfe AVE S103 (Siemens Velaro E) is just finishing his stop in Zaragoza and preparing to continue his trip. Look at the double configuration and the length of the train. While the white Siemens Velaro E is closing doors and leaving a nice red Iryo S109 (Frecciarossa 1000) is arriving at the platform.

The OSP-Owl was waiting at the station for a high speed train when suddenly an old Renfe Class 470 appeared. This is a regional train build in 1974 and refurbished in 1993. This train has a maximum speed of 140 km/h which is still quite nice. Actually allmost all train sets have been replaced by new CIVIA and Class 449 trains and sold to Chile and Brazil. So, just at that moment when the old CAF came in a brandnew Frecciarossa 1000 passed in the background at 300 km/h. A very nice contrast of the old train and the new one. 50 years between both units.

Here we go with a compilation of Ouigo and the TGV Euroduplex or 2N2. It´s an double decker built by Alstom able to travel at 300 km/h or 186 mph. With two floors in a single train there is place for 509 passengers. Actually there are 14 trains of this TGV in Spain. Spotting includes simple and double train sets. A very nice issue is the sound and a very characteristic swooshing of the train. Listen to it while you watch the video and enjoy 😊

A Frecciarossa 1000 or ETR 1000 from the company Iryo heading to Madrid at 300 km/h (186 mph) with 419 passengers. Although the train is able to reach 360 km/h (223 mph) the usual cruising speed is 300 km/h. This was recorded near Zaragoza on a nice Sunday morning.

This is an Alvia S130 or Talgo 250 called duckling (patito) in double configuration. It travels at max. 250 km/h but is able to do it on Iberian gauge (1,668 mm (5 ft 5+21⁄32 in)) and use also standard or UIC gauge high-speed (1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in)). This train can change gauge at low speed due to the Talgo variable RD system (a very good french video explaining how this ingenious system works is this one: ua-cam.com/video/xtcZmHeOCDY/v-deo.html). This train was on it´s way from Barcelona to Salamanca.

This is an Italian Frecciarossa 1000 from the Spanish company Iryo. It was recorded from above heading from Zaragoza to Madrid at 300 km/h or 186 MPH. Beautiful and stylish train.
