Every time you go out you will learn something. Stay at it and if you can afford it go out with a quality small charter that can really put you on some good fish with better equipment. Really enjoyed the video. 😊
If you fry the fish without salt it will be crispy on the skin side. Add the salt after cooking. Try this and you will notice the difference.
When you hit bottom. Reel it up like 2 times and let your weight and bait sit
I'd also suggest you change your live bait EVERY TIME you wind in .
You would have a lot more success if you handled the bait better don't knock off the scales

Next time just drop it down crank it a few tomes and wait you'll feel a tug and reel it up. But let your bait sit there a min or so, no bites bring it up and get a new bait do it again. Good day, out tight lines and fiah on!.
