Last sunday, I just finished the game for the first time. It took met about 40hrs. And, as a fan of watching any game get rekked by speedrunners, I was curious if any1 was doing Sub, and my god it's awesome. Good stuff

I was so proud of having all three vehicles a pretty good base a scanner room and a few upgrades in just a little over two hours but this is pretty good too i guess 😮😢

I would say that unstuck i cheating. On PC I can just type <shift> <enter> spawn seamoth <enter> to get a seamoth. Its bult inn to Subnautica, so what is the difference to unstuck built inn command? Unstuck 10 times in a row at 54:45

Imo glitchless speedruns are love letters to a game. Theres something about the effort required to learn each little aspect of a game, then complete it the way it’s intended as quickly as possible. The time it takes to become this precise and familiar with a game makes it clear how much you love it. The inventory management and scanning in subnautica speedruns are insanely specific. It doesn’t even have to be a WR to be impressive and show your appreciation

I’m sorry but as a vet gamer, I gotta say it’s impressive but only to its current degree. No unstuck abuse would extend the run yes, but allow its original difficulty to be experienced more. Shifting expectations of the run a bit more.

there is exploited unstuck "glitch" you should be able to use it, if you really stuck. not to teleport that long. once he did it few times in a row and it moved him quit a distance. it is a glitch for me. I call it a scam

I don't know if a speedrun works for this, but after opening a portal and finding lifepod 2 I got stuck, and have no clue where to go now xD
