Awesome show !!! They were a 7 minute sound check away from scoring best show of the year ! Still #1 for me. Shoe gaze HAS to be loud.. to create the wall of sound. It was loud but not as loud as Quannic who opened. Kudos to them for their shoe gaze trancey vibe mixed with a jam band elements.

I’ve always felt like Roger has some amount of guilt about Syd. Idk what about specifically, but those of us who have lost friends to pear-shaped minds feel a vague guilt. Nothing specific, but maybe that, at some point, we might have saved them. But we didn’t.

This popped up again today in a quick 20 minute doom scrolling on UA-cam session. Because I do not have the rights from 'The Head and the Heart' to use the audio, I believe this is why the sound is distorted. Kind of enough to at least let that go but I tried at least 3 or 4 times to upload the music to UA-cam and it gets lost in translation. The iMovie version was fine.

I think that Syd is the most misunderstood and underappreciated musician.
