    Really enjoyed this, thank you. Just for your background knowledge on the felled trees around Allenheads and Kielder: Storm Arwen, and then Malik, devastated the forests in and across Northumberland and these need to be cleared this year to be used for chipping mainly, as biofuel and wood pellets (you can't use windblow for structural stuff, because it's full of "shakes" and delaminates along the grain).

    • @gonetouring
      @gonetouring 9 днів тому

      Thanks for the info! I guessed there would have been a lot of storm damage, but I was just so surprised around that bit. So that's interesting to know. Thanks

      @@gonetouring The figure I have - my son works in forestry - is around 16 million trees were lost across Northumberland and the Scottish borders, a lot of these around the A68 - which leads past Kielder up to Carter Bar. That's about 8000 hectares, which is about 20,000 acres - it's lot of wood. The docks at Berwick are still stacked now, I noticed when I was there last week, and it's being shipped across to Europe for processing (we probably buy it back, as processed particle board and wood pellets).

    Thanks for the video. If you overtighten the nut you will wear out the bearings prematurely. 190Nm seems really high for a regular swingarm. Various forums are listing 156Nm (which still seem high). I owned a 996 and it, like all single sided swingarms, needed really high torque values. Cheers

    Thanks for the excellent video! I've been searching for the correct torque number, consensus seems to be that the 230 Nm is for the single sided swing arm MTS, 156-180 seems to be what's prescribed for MTS950/V2. Although my local shop just told me 60-70 Nm is much better. I wish Ducati just simply published the numbers.

    • @gonetouring
      @gonetouring Місяць тому

    A ”less expensive” suggestion: the CHIGEE AIO-5 Play that comes with a USB cable, which makes it detachable. It has no cameras, but it can be solved in other ways.

    • @gonetouring
      @gonetouring Місяць тому

      Yes, that is a good option. I didn't realise it was any easier to detach though, but I'm guessing if you use it with a double ball mount adapter, yes... good point! the USB cable is an alternative way of powering it, but you need a good USB power supply to do it too from what I've read.
