REPLACING VERTICAL BLINDS HEAD RAIL HOOKS
Переглядів 52 тис.6 років тому
In this video Vinny explains why it is easier to build a new headrail for a vertical blind once a hook or two snaps or breaks rather than fix the broken rail. While it can be done. It is more labour intensive and therefore more expensive than the materials required to repair the hooks. Another point Vinny makes is that when replacing older parts with newer parts, the older parts are more likely...

We know why the breakaway happens but I have a 2.6m blind and it cant even lift the blind because of the breakaway. I don't have any children in my house and even if I do they would always be supervised. How do I make sure I can lift my blind without it collapsing and getting damaged.

Turn to Jesus people he died for your sins, Repent of what the New Testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel obey the teachings of Jesus documented in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, be baptized if you have faith in Jesus then you will live life with him as your example. If you need prayer i'll pray for you. If you want to keep contact with a brother in Christ i’ll keep contact with you. The love of God is beyond our understanding. God bless../

So, to use a well used phrase in your video, "the problem here is" .......extremely poor design, not the lack of knowledge of buyers. These hooks are inevitably going to go with even a small amount of pressure. They are light gauge plastic for goodness sake. Designed to force you to buy another blind with what should be a quick repair, possible by the owners. Its not uncommon nowadays to expect people to replace rather than repair and while I appreciate your video is explaining the issue, it does not tackle the root problem. Why they could not be designed with aluminium or stronger stems is beyond me. Equally other blind manufacturers have blinds where the stems can be clicked out and quickly replaced. Buyers beware. Check out the design before buying....
