Welcome to Eden Roc Farm!
We are a husband and wife duo who quit our 9 to 5's to pursue a more sustainable and fulfilling lifestyle. We operate a 64 acre farm located in the Appalachian Mountains of Southern West Virginia where we raise pigs, poultry and hopefully cattle in the near future. Join us in our journey as we continue to grow our farm. We can't wait to see what comes next!

It looks like she is going to be a great sow for us.
Take Barrels and put on pellets or Pieces of wood that way the moisture won't come from the ground. I took advice from someone else and it worked great for me. No more moisture from the bottom.

Why did you put down bedding and what did you put down for bedding. More talking not everyone will know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Some people watch these type of videos to learn and some people watching to see if they’re doing things right or maybe you have a different way of doing something that they are already doing most people have never said food on a farm, but they like the videos, what you doing good luck.
Thank you for the feedback, i will probably have videos that fit two different styles, a day to day on the farm and a how to or more informative style. I use pine shaving for the floor of our chicken coop to help with moisture from the manure. Carbon the (pine shaving) is a necessity of the composting process used in deep bedding practices. As the chickens mix them, composting can begin over time. I then remove the bedding when the time comes and add them to my compost pile that i eventually use around the farm.
