茨城県県立大洗高等学校マーチングバンドのSnareline 2011年メンバーにVIC-FITH LiteStixを初めて試奏していただいた時の様子です。(現在この製品は廃番モデル) 薄暮の中、普段のマーチングスティックより細く軽いモデルに戸惑いつつも短時間でアジャストし、来たる全国大会のショーにこれを使用することが決定した場面です。

I had 4 members of the pit stay with me. Dylan stayed with me 4 years. When i saw on video the Hi mom I knew they had nailed it and just won drums. My all time fav BD show.

the corps in the bottom of the top-12 (and below) are generally younger and less experienced than those in the top of the finalists. Some of them use these corps as "starter" corps.

The beginning snare solo should be on a concert snare since it is a percussion ensemble! Get rid of the rockem sockem syndrome with those stupid marching percussion sounds. Same old stuff, 125th verse. Can't we be revolutionary in concepts?

Even though Professor Rennick is widely acclaimed in the world of marching percussion, he is not infallible. As his predecessors, Float, Sanford, and Hannum, these were the Gods of their era who are by today's standards not remembered; henceforth ten years from now, so to will Professor Rennick be forgotten also. A riddle, who was Doc Schietroma and who did he influence? In addition where did he teach? See what I mean?
jim edward who has forgotten about Float, Sanford and Hannum? I have not seen this show on the field but there could be visual as well as musical reasons for the decision. It’s all about total show design and not just music.
