Timberlands have been the longest lasting boots I've had so far, my last pair lasted just under 4 years. Just bought a new set of 200g vibram sole Boondock boots, so incredibly comfortable.

These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had, they are durable and waterproof for sure. Worth the 200 bucks.

i have a pair of danners that i just resoled myself. I hate the heel so i cut it off, took a small grinder with a sanding disc, and cleaned up the bottom, smoothed the whole bottom of the boot, and took a piece of tire from an atv. I laid a strip of the tire down put the boot on it and traced the outline with a sharpie. then i cut the new soles out, sanded them and applied contact cement, let dry about 15 minutes and stuck them together. They were hammered and then i took my sander and went around the edges. Ill never wear these out

I can vouch for the railroad. Uneven ground, rough ballast and sharp steel all over. These boots are incredible on the railroad. Everybody on the railroad recommends these. And I stand by them. Walking on clouds!

Went to bear shoe works last summer and had you guys resole my Thorogood 804-4379 (8" steel toe 90° sole) with a vibram v100 sole. The boots turned out better than I could have ever expected and I'll be coming back for all my future footwear needs

How would you compare these to the danner quarrys. Dont know what to choose.

I spent many years in shed watching my grandpa repair and reheel shoes......many happy memories, and oh i miss it so much , as well as grandpa , plus those shoe making smells. They were so unique. I still have his iron cobbler shoe rest. Awww the good old days xx

You guys rock! I'd trust my boots to you. Too bad the shoe shop I took mine to stole them. I was a little late picking them up, but that should of held on to them for a few weeks. I love people that take pride in their work and do a good job. Like American craftsmen use to be and could be again. Good idea posting this video, letting people know that there are still folks out there that does good work, even if you have to ship you're items to them. You got my thumbs up!

When you started cutting the shoe, it didn't look very safe to cut towards your body like that. Aren't you always supposed to cut away from your body and body parts when you're using a knife in case the blade slips?
